Upgrade walls without a builder

I've read through the ruled out ideas and this idea is clearly not ruled out. We don't have to have builders to buy decorations so why cant we upgrade walls without them?

When ever we upgrade a wall it is instant thus the builder
-Doesn't leave his hut
-Just sits back and does nothing
-Looks out his tiny little window and says "oh Wow! What happen to the walls?" "They are stronger!"


Im sure plenty of you have ended of with Max gold and elixir with no free builder (I have Max 8mil gold with 3days until free builder ) and all you can do is wait if YOU love this idea please VOTE in the poll and BUMP this thread so it can be seen! Everyone would love this and I know it has been brought up in the past. People want this! Please Bump and vote!

Long long ago, in a galaxy far far away....

Sc did this ages ago, but rescinded it after the loot wass so bad after everyone upgraded everything they need to in a day, then dumped excess gold into walls and trained up all the elixir into big armies. See how bad it could be for the game again?

I do see your point Yes but I feel I can't raid because I just have to sit here with max 8mil gold I want to use on walls 3d wait

If you need to, stagger your builders so that you have one open every other day or so or leave one free for walls. If you have limited number of builders, i reccomend the staggering. If you have four or five builders, leave one free until your walls are done

I have 5 and always like to keep them working and upgrading I hate having one sitting there just for walls I did that for th7 and th8 I just feel I'm losing time with having one just for that but I do see your point. BUT it is hard to stagger your builders when everything takes 5+ days to upgrade at th9

Agreed. Im th8 with only three builders and my builds are about 5-6 days for lvl 5 Wiz and ADs, so staggering is hard here as well. Im pretty casual with playing so i don't see the need to raid when i don't need it so i throw storages outside when i don't need it and hope people just sack it and leave giving me a small push in trophies

Well bud we play very differently then.
I like to stock up on loot in between builders while they are busy and having as much loot as possible for my upgrades because I like upgrading my walls with defenses at the same time.

haha no kidding. I see it like this. Loot that i have and don't need is loot that someone else can be using right now. I usually boost the 12 hours before an upgrade finishes so that i have loot for the next upgrade. Im doing walls last, no matter the time it takes, could league farm or just regular farm in crystal, but Im a long way away from maxing my Th8

Yeah all it takes is time,effort, and patience. Before you know it you will be maxed going to th9. I feel like I flew through th8. Th7 maxing felt way longer lol.

At all TH levels below TH10, you should be able to stagger upgrades with 5 builders so that a builder is available every 48 hours if not sooner. You just need to have an upgrade plan to properly stagger.

I am of the school of thought that allowing players to dump gold/elixir on wall upgrades without a free builder would indeed screw the us over in terms of finding enough bases with decent loot to raid.

This would be a much worse problem to have than to sit with TOO MUCH gold.

Try the staggering, it works pretty well if you time things correctly.
