Forums ruin the game!

Yes fair enough, it's good to find out info ect.. but when everyone is posting out the perfect attack or perfect defense I don't get it! are you doing it for attention? Why share information to your rivals? Soon as there is a perfect defense figured out it will be posted on here and it will be used by everybody! Where is the uniqueness in that? It would be a more versatile game if everyone was to work out tactics for themselves!

There is no perfect defence. Relax.

By the way, you do realise there are millions of players and only a small few on the forums? :)

You will be surprised how many actually view the forums without posting (getting tip and hints) which is the problem! Also it is the domino/sheep effect.

Are you a farmer or trophy hunter ?

As a farmer, out of 30 raids, MAYBE I might find a base with Town Hall outside.

Having town hall outside is one of the first things farmers point out to one another on this forum.

So guess what ?
If its as impactful as you suggested, I should be finding 1 farming base per 5~10 raids. But nope.
I still find tons and tons and tons of bases at 1,400 trophy range with town hall in the middle of their base.

if you are a trophy hunter, if there is indeed a perfect defense, I would imagine top 100 players to be using the exact same base lol.

But doesnt matter either way, since for this game, offense is always greater than defense.

I appreciate the sharing very much.
The good thing is the game has many ways to play it and there is no perfect defence or attack. Different troop combi suit different base designs.
I don't think a lot of people know about the forum. Otherwise I won't be laughing to the bank all day when I raid.

I'll tell you a secret.....upgrade your town hall as soon as possible, dont worry about upgrading anything else...:cool:

To be fair, people with TH outside their walls are more likely to have a shield, so there should be more than what you're seeing when raiding. I do agree, though, that the vast majority of players are not farmers. Where would the farmers get all their loot, otherwise?

My post is implying that,
Most players who have accessed this forum, should be a farmer, atleast the majority of them.
And if they are a farmer, first key point is to have town hall outside their base far far away, or beside the base, without wasting walls protecting them.
So if you do not see much of such "farmers" base, then no, forum doesn't ruin the game from a farmer pov.

I understood your post. I was just mentioning that there are probably more farmers than what you see when raiding, since farmers tend to get shields more often.

It's great how there are n00bs we can compare ourselves to.

I am a th 9 farmer level 87. I have tried having my th away from anything and right next to my walls. I prefer right next to my walls.

I guess u dont have friends?

Amd i still dont get whh every body says th outside (yes i understand free shield blablabla). But when i put my th outside mayby someone will pick it of once a week, so i preferer to have it in my base, but then at the "end" of my base my th got most hp so when their are barbs killing it 2 mortars are fireing on it and i like that :D

What are you talking about? Just today I've gotten my TH picked off at least 3-4 times. 1300 trophy range.

Well, Some people just view the forums for information without posting! I did this before and voted! Also Asked Questions. So f you hate the forums then don't view it simple!

This post is, frankly, disheartening and unintelligent. This game has been out for a little over a year, and if your theory is correct, we would at least expect to see groups of bases that were the best, and which everyone had copied. But no. There are no themes, or 'perfect bases', and if this theory were to come true, based on current evidence it would take years! Every time I attack, I see 5 or 6 new base designs, all of them flawed but all of them creative and adventurous.
On another note, I find your attitude to be arrogant. The whole point of forums is to help people, and as a decent human being you should want to help people. Unless, of course, you think that only the people who maybe aren't so good at this game and need a helping hand don't deserve it, and it is more serious than a game, and people don't deserve fair chances in Clash of Clans? Rant Over.
