So for 10 and 15 capacity players I tend to give 2 level 5 wizards and then 3 archers. Simply so that the wizards have some meat shield protection and all troops are capable of hitting ground and air units.
For 20 capacity players it's 1 level 3 dragon and for 25 capacity it's 1 level 2 PEKKA.
What are your typical defensive clan war donations and how do you rate mine?
Can you suggest something better?

Pekkas should not be used on defence
we tend to fill everyone with maxxed wizz. for low guys 15 cap we do 1 witch and 3 archers.
Personally my clan does either all lvl 4 drags, and a max wiz and archer if they have 25,
just a drag for 20 spaces,
and witch or wiz for anything under that.
i like the 1witch 2wiz then the rest archers strat for myself. Pekkas imo suck on D, as they are so slow on attack and can't target air troops. Valks are the same deal unless you are taking on Giants and Hogs frequently and even then, wizards are better
No matter the players request, we fill every cc with one max witch and then fill with lev 7 archers, even for the 35 cap players.
A) Hard to draw all troops out.
B) Great for air and ground.
C) Hard to lightning all in one hit.

Can Minions attack other air troops?
Sure mins can but they are so low in HP an DPS its not worth it in my opinion.
Plus they limit you being at 2 housing. Archers are the go-to troop for mass donatingQuote:
