None of us barchers mind that other people prefer other army compositions. I am perfectly fine with you playing with whatever army you enjoy most. I would prefer to barch. I would prefer my ideal army composition to not be constantly attacked and looked down upon (not that it really matters what other players think of it). What is important is that my ideal army composition is not attacked by Supercell in the form of an update specifically designed to limit my ability to play the way I enjoy (which is what some of this latest update was about).

Barchers have to defend their army composition because of how often it is attacked. How many posts do you see calling people that use balloons or GoWiPe unskilled and guilty of using cheap tactics? How often do you hear those comments about Barching?

If Supercell limited the effectiveness of barching while giving a reasonable alternative (which would require lowering the cook time of other units to make them just as fast to make as a barch army) I would be okay with it. But their alternative is to literally stop playing their game (because you have to stop playing for 2 to 4 times as long to wait for the army to be created). That is fine if you don't enjoy the game much to begin with and can't stand the idea of playing for more than 3 minutes at a time, but if you actually like raiding that is a horrible alternative.

I barch, and I agree wholeheartedly with the nerf. TH8s shouldn't be able to get 50% on a TH10 with barch nearly as easily as they could. It works fine at farming levels--the nerf mainly applies to masters and up.

For barchers, yes, the alternative is possibly horrible --- I personaly am not bothered, I was merely pointing out that not everyone barched anyway.



I also agree with you that yes, many threads do seem to be attacking BARCH these days......


And i disagree about enjoying raiding ---- I do like raiding --- I just prefer smashing bases into smithereens, rather than picking off 50% .... each to their own......


I also think barchers are probably overreacting (like they did with 4th mortar)... It may be slightly more difficult, but I am pretty sure BARCH will still be around next update......



(also SC did give BARCH a buff last update to lvl7)

So you are in the minority. Not everyone is a near max TH9 or TH10 and always runs the risk of being ran over when they log off. As a TH8 and lower that is pretty much a given. I am finally getting my TH9 to that point but again the vast majority of players are not at that level and cant afford to do that.
