This need to be said.

Hi, if you are going to take the time to read this i thank you, if not well i thank you the same.

First, this isnt to hate on SC or players, this is my rant and my opinion.

Now, as obvius as it seams clash of clans is a game, what makes us all gamers (sort of) some of us are more hardcore than others, some like me, are quite old and we are gamers since the first console came out but we all have something in common we took pride in been strong in to have a reward for all the time we spend in the game, in knowing that our base will be skip far more than other, out of fear to lose against us.

Of course SC have a good point wanting us to do more complex raids, and army comp, for them is not just a game they make for fun this is theire job, but for most of us thats not really something we want, even if im the owner of the game, i shouldnt be able to tell players "you have to play this way" even so im ok with them not quite saying it just making it harder not to.

But youll see in order for us (players) to be able to "go crazy" and do an all wall-breakers raid, we need to be strong, strong enough to have the power to be stupid and not feeling the consequences of it, like "oh well i just lose 300k of elixir thats nothing n.n" (im not saying that thats the cost on an all wall-breakers raid btw) and in order to be that kind of strong we need to play smart and that means low cost raid, so we can get a profit for upgrades. I would think that all of you even the personal at SC can understand that is not the same doing 5 raid of barch than doing 5 "normal" raid, is not the same on time nor on cost.

I have been adm for private servers of games, like WoW, and let me tell you, players will always be crying babys at some point, but they all want a game that is fair, that if you are smart enough you can beat it (even in time) if you really are concerned about profits for you (For SC staff and owners) you could do the same as every other F2P game out there, you can let players customize their village for a price, you want a diferent back ground? heres a pack of backgrounds just for the low price of 10$, you want your queen archer to look better buy her stuff (only looks ok?) batterys are not included btw, i speak from exp, thats always a big seller and btw it always gonna be players that buy gems just to not wait, that will never ever gonna change.

But most players dont like to raid with big armys cuz they dont have the time or we dont think is the "smart" way of play...

cost of 240 lvl7 barbs? - 48k if you win in master 1 you get a profit of 92k plus whatever you were able to loot from the base.

cost of a full war mode army? ... im sure is not gonna be less that 50k

And with all these im not "aking" "crying" for you to change it, i just want it to vent my thoughts.

In Crystal 2, all I have to find is 40k of elixir and 400 de to break even. Anything above that is profit.

That's pretty reasonable to me.

GoWiWi is expensive but it's exactly a farming strategy....

So how do you upgrade anything with loonions? Boost everything, raid and wait 15min looking at your ipad screen to avoid being raided to be able to get 50k loot at a time?
Not reasonable to me when compared with barch. boosted barch = army ready as soon as you get back to your village AND costs a lot less.

ok how much time you take to make those ballons? if you can do that 5 time faster? wouldnt be better? isnt that the point of barch? saving time?

and btw, we dont need SC to fix the loot problem, why? cuz if we get enough players to agree on 1 day just 1 day to put their TH out side, notrolling just leave them out side.. in master 1, with 8m deposits you only need to hit 43 bases to get ur deposits full, wait but will i lose 400 or so trophys? no you wont, why again? cuz if you get attacked 43 times, you could lose 430 trophys, but you can attack 43 time to win almost the same amount of trophys you lose. does this make sense?

and i know im right cuz SC have given of the means to do so...
how? sending the inactive to the back of the line, by given us loot bonus for wining, we players control the game more that we realize

You have never been to crystal huh ... I find bases with 150,000 gold/elixir really quick. Less than 20 nexts. Idont wait online, my base can defend against attacks, plus, free shield from th outside.

Sorry, but that will never happen, and if it does people will quit. That would be an incredibly boring way to play the game. Raiding legitimately is far more entertaining and is what keeps people going in the game.

Millions of people play, so there are many many many styles of play. That is why I think so many people are still playing this game after 2+ years.

And that kind of gets to the point I think you were trying to make in the OP. SC wants us to stay addicted to the game, that is why troops are being constantly adjusted. Nerf, buff, counter building buff, troops focus change... it's all about balancing the game. Army comps are being constantly altered and invented by the players to keep the game interesting. I think barching in gold is as boring as watching paint dry... so i don't do it. I balloonion in crystal and master. Yeah, it's a little slower in terms of game progression, but I don't care. It keeps me playing. When I want a challenge, I push to champs. I don't have time to sit on my phone playing for 2+ hours a day, so I raid when my army is done. Raid, rebuild, sign off, get sniped, wait for army to finish.... repeat.

Everyone plays differently, and so I think SC is trying to cultivate that to keep the biggest audience in the game.

1.- it can actually happen 2.- im not saying we all play like these forever, just one day and 3.- You cant say that, thats isnt gonna fix the loot problem cuz you, me and everyone knows that could actually work, cuz it will generate loots of loot.

i play the same way, but you have to consider like you said the millions of players that wont feel the same like you, i wanst trying to make a point i really dont care if they nerf barch, theres thing that not even SC can change like people leaving their th out side.

Even if the perfect game exist, if theres a way to make thing faster and better, players will find it.

I farm with loons I use 16 loons and 80 minions no spells. I farm from gold 1 to masters 2 with that set up depending on where it is people are finding loot in my clan. I farm enough gold and elixir to upgrade two lvl 10 walls to lvl 11. I can do four a day if I boost barracks.

I don't have to boost anything. I don't have to stay online. Barching costs 35k? Only a 50% difference and I don't have to stress over playing for hours straight. Am I making millions an hour? No, but I'm progressing pretty steadily without much stress.

I get sniped 19 times out of 20. I rarely get Zapped, if I do, it's for under 400 de. I can get 3 times of that in one raid. Note: On a MINIMUM raid!

I also don't have to rely on inactives. I find a base worthy of raiding well within 20 nexts.

40 minutes to make my army. 5 time faster but with the added stress of having to find collector bases? No thanks. I like being able to set an army, do what I need to do IRL, then attack for 300k (combined) loot + C2 league bonus, then continue with my day.

I feel like I'm actually saving time. Takes me 5 minutes to find a base to attack, and 30 seconds to set my next army. Then I can do whatever I want to do, eat dinner, do some work, watch a tv show.... return to my coc when i get a notification that my troops are ready. Rinse and repeat. While you are barching, spending gems on boost in order to attack for 2 hours straight.

Net net, I'm saving time.

Bingo. If I have to next more than 20 times, I'd be shocked. Make my troops, log off, live life, attack... rinse and repeat. Barching vs Loonioning, for time spent "working" Loonioning is a much more economical style of farming.
