Force Spawning Christmas Trees

One reason to think this is that th10s seem to spawn obstacles at the same rate as th4s do, and unless you provide evidence that's not the case, or provide a quote from SC then you cant prove it.

Even if u would know the exact way how and how often obstacles spawn won't change the fact that u would still need room to make em spawn. I've seen Xmas trees in all types of locations the past 2 years so I can say for a fact that there is no specific location where they spawn more than in another.

So, make room where u want em to spawn and pray.

It is impossible to not have space as obstacles cap at 40 and they can spawn on the edge where you cant put anything anyway. So keeping this in mind why bother clearing your flags and stuff?

The whole map has spawnpoints for obstacles, that's why I sold my flags to get a higher chance for a tree, since room is scarce in th10. I do also keep 1 builder free during xmasevents in case I have to clear an obstacle that is not an Xmas tree.

Well... I see that I'm not the only person to put so much thought into this! Haha!

Unfortunately, I don't think we will get a definitive answer.

The only drawback with the force spawning method in this case is that if this years Xmas tree is like the halloween headstone it will have the same spawn mechanics as the gembox and will therefore spawn anywhere in your village where there is a 1 tile space, even if it's next to a building or another obstacle.

Actually, my friend has two accounts. One made after the other. His first account has everything stretched out so things only spawn on the outside. The other does not. Neither of them have ever had 40 obstacles.

His is first account has nice and tidy of 571. His second has 634.

I wonder how saved bases are effected by this. I have room for a tree on my active base (and am still waiting for it), but what if something exists in that same area for a saved base?

I actually had that happen. Whichever items that are blocked get placed into inventory.

I actually got lucky. After putting my base back together, a new tree spawned right where I wanted it--On the outside edge, and out of the way! 😉👍
