If you love the new wall update, welcome home

For those of you who loved the update, come share your thoughs.

I for one am happy that soon there will be more elixir for us th9's to steal from th8's to research level 6 troops.
I like raiding with big armys. This is a good way to make sure mass drags, pekkas, or expensive armies profit a bit or break even on elixir.
This will make sure that active raiders/farmers will have a better edge against casual players. 500,000 gold a wall is not so bad, maxed collectors get a wall a day, plus thats 1-2 raids with whatever army for a wall.

Yeah it just seems to make sense. Walls do not truly get 'difficult' until lvl 9, so it's logical that elixir can only be used starting then.

I told everyone in my clan to farm walls when the elixir upgrade first hit....we even reduced clan wars to once a week..... i don't feel sorry for people who didn't take advantage.

I am now doing level 10 walls (7 so far) so this update doesn't directly effect me. However i do think it was a good move. The wall change along with the new level pumps could be the start of us seeing good loot again... Baby steps but they seem to be in the right direction.

if the next update includes those Daily Quests that everyone has been begging for that will see us having another way to get loot which would also help!

I did all but the last 20 skulls before the last update. Towards the end I was donating L3 Pekkas just to bleed off elixir that was overflowing (grinding for gold for walls, all lix upgrades and research done for TH8)

It was fun. There were three of us in our clan "racing" to finish the skull walls. I think it helps prepare you for TH9, where every upgrade is preceeded by two or three long farming sessions to build up the 3-7M gold or elixir for that next building/research. Or the endledd DE hunts for research/Heros.

But I am sure glad I can use elixir on legos. I'm nearly done with all elixir work on TH9 now, so I can see where the overflow is going to go...

I love the change too. I was getting very tired of the elixir drought. More elixir available = more fun armies to play around with

I think it's great. In a couple of weeks we should be able to get a better sense of its effect on the economy.

This new wall update is fine :) Even though I'm already a TH9 player and has 100+ lego walls. Farming a lvl 8 wall is not hard as lvl 9, x2 of effort is needed for lego walls. Still I don't know why some people are still whining why SC remove those elixir upgrades for walls at th8 people even though the loot is good at th8 and farming gold is easy compare to th9.

Well i'd rather they'd moved it to lavas rather than legos but definitely an improvement
