So I was thinking, I believe active bases go into the raid queue first. So if everyone farmed (had TH on the outside) we would see all the active bases get shields. This would pull forward all of the inactive bases, and everyone that raids would have more loot by raiding inactive bases.
The trophy rating wouldn't fall too much either. As that attacking base would go up by sniping other farms, offseting any losses they get by getting sniped or missing the 50% on the inactive bases.
Thoughts?
Not the first time this has been suggested. Only problem with it is...how will you get everyone that plays to do this?Quote:

There is a major benefit to benefit to being a farmer now. I can build up resources quicker while under sheild (only 1 attack every 12 hrs vs. 3 attacks). So I wouldn't call this the prisoner's dilemma. There are serious benefits without the other party doing it already (which is why farming is so popular).
As for noone being available, just the opposite, With millions of users bases would come off shield every minute, so I would think every other base would be an inactive raid or a TH to snipe.

Matchmaking should be completely random regardless of activity level.
activity level should not play role in matchmaking.
Only trophy range, that's all.
SC said that inactive village is not being hidden, but by moving active village forward in the queue they have indirectly moving inactive to the back which is unfair.
Golden hour such as after the update should be the norm, not just one hour after update. It should be like that all the time.
Not only that, the more times a base is nexted past the further down the queue it should go. If players are chronically nexting past the same base then clearly that is an undesirable base that has no business being high up in the queue. If they made this change then we would stop seeing base after base that have so little loot that they simply are not worth attacking.Quote:
