To me it was the Halloween update that started the slow death of gowipe. The skeleton traps are a nuisance to pekkas and yes I understand that the onslaught of wizards that follow the pekkas should be the ones to destroy. But since the Halloween update I've had to switch to a gowiwi instead of my favored gowipe and get a lvl 5 pekka in my cc for a little more firepower.
Just because you have level 3 pekkas and its not necessarily working out for you means sc will change it.
I understand what you are saying but it won't happen
I understand supercell won't change things just to cater to my needs, and that if a strategy does not work, i can use a different one.
However, i am more concerned over the usability of the pekka, because if it is nerfed too much, then its existence becomes moot, pointless. If there are no good army compositions that work with pekkas any more, then nobody will use pekkas, and it'll be 6 million elixir to waste.
At this point, I feel it has been nerfed too much. Before skeleton traps, i could 3 star many bases easily. After skeleton traps, i get 2 stars on some of those bases. After this update, well getting 2 stars is a struggle sometimes- even against bases i feel i should.
So, is there anything left for a TH 9 to use in war? Hogs nerfed by the giant bomb, Pekka 3 nerfed by stronger buildings and skeletons, and on the same time TH10 troops only get stronger. It seems like a pattern to force us to be TH 10 ASAP, but when Elixir is so hard to get I won't. I really don't like the way this is taking.
AN EXTRA HIT DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING?!!!! Wow you must be trippin'. If you knew what you were talking about you'd know that pekkas attack every 2.5 seconds. So one extra hit means 2.5 extra seconds spent attacking the same collector/building. Multiply that by 12 and you get 30 seconds extra, and that doesn't even include the extra hits needed on cannons now. That means, that a pekka takes at least 42.5 seconds longer to take out a base. Whether you use the strategy right, 42.5 seconds is a sizable amount of time- enough to ruin a 3 star raid.
if you are using pekkas to hit outside buildings then you are using them wrong
if they have all collectors and barracks in their base well i dont know what to say
