"What seems to fly straight past you" is that this update makes the upgrade from lvl 2 to 3 pekkas next to worthless in dps. 6million elixir for 400hp and the same number of hits on a cannon, archer tower, and basically everything else. May as well keep DPS the same LOL. Sure i'll pay 6mill for 400 hp! NOT.
This is what a pekka couldn't one hit before: air defense, lvl 6+tesla, cc, wizard tower, and town hall. You can add cannons and labs, and collectors to the list now. It only gets worse at th9 who don't have lvl 4 pekkas available to them.
You also said that the update doesn't specifically nerf pekkas, and that it affects dragons, wizards, and balloons too. But then you said "pekkas shouldn't be one hitting collectors"; a nerf. Also, none of those troops mentioned take up 25 spots each, and all are usually used in masses (All dragons). Try using 8 pekkas and tell me how u do. If 4 dragons are attacking a building and it takes 4 hits instead of 3 do you think that makes a difference? No because one attack that would miss hits instead. With pekkas though would that happen? Well no because often times after they get that TH, they split.
It's one thing to "nerf" a troop, but to indirectly completely wipe out one of its key characteristics and make upgrading to the next level next to worthless (you may value 400hp more than i do), just doesn't work- it creates more problems than it fixes. It only results in lack of use of a troop, which should not happen.
Oh yes, and i did state why it is a problem why they can't one-hit some of these buildings. I'll list them here for easy findings.
1. 6million elixir and +30DPS in the upgrade to lvl 3. If 30DPS does not produce any difference in results it may as well be 0DPS (doesn't make sense though).
2. There is no lvl 4 pekka for th9 which only worsens the problem as it loses more buildings it can one-hit. Honestly, if they just moved pekka lvl 4 to th9, the lvl 3 situation might not be bad enough to complain about.
3. It takes twice as long for a pekka to take out the same building. Pekkas are deployed and only effective in small quantities of 2-4, using all pekkas just does not make much practical sense. (This isn't isn't about pekkas going around the base- it's about cleanup at the end when all defenses are down and there are buildings outside). For example, 4 collectors are left and 20 seconds left. One pekka will take 2 hits on each building and take all 20 seconds to if it could teleport. Beforehand, it would take 1 hit and 10 seconds if it could teleport.
If they kept collectors' hitpoints the same and introduced the lvl 12 ones with more than a one-hit kill from a pekka, i think that would have been fine because they are obviously higher leveled and should have more hp.
