Lightning v Level 6 Air Defence

Morning guys (In England :cool:)
quick question. I am going to raid a base in current war where the guy has put his air defence too close together. As a result I am going to Dragon attack and try and lightning his AD. Normally I would rage and heal with drags.
My lightning is Lv 5. Question is does anyone know if 3 combined spells will destroy both AD if they are immediately adjacent to each other or will I need 2 for each?

Never use a heal spell with dragons.

If you place them in one spot, no, if you place on in the middle, then see where to put the others based on health, possibly.

420 x 3 damage on 1050 hit points, if you place them correctly it'll workout.

3x lightning spells can only destroy 1 AD if they are dropped dead center of the AD. You can only hope that the splash damage help lower the hp of the adjacent AD for a faster kill for your dragons. However, if you have access to 4x lightning spells, it will be very interesting to see if dropping 2x on each AD would actually destroy both. The randomness is risky though.

Lvl 6 Balloons in your CC would be useful.

I'd say tough, but you should still get 1 AD + a weakened 2nd AD. The splash damage math on the lightning spell has worked wonkily in the past for me. :p

I will give it a shot. Cant practise as you hardly ever see a base where the AD is so close together so will give it a try. I have 4 Lightnings anyway. As for heal with Dragons it works well as long as you are not depending on it to hold AD at bay. If you use it after AD is gone you can restore a whole group almost to full health if your lucky. I would normally go 3 rage, 1 heal and a freeze for dragon attack (I like to freeze CC troops to make it easier to toast them as they pass the AD).

AD's have high Hp specifically for this reason. I had once taken out a Wiz Tower, two mortars and a cannon in a 2 x 2 square area by dropping three lightening spells right in the middle.

The damage was unevenly spread on each strike. So if you have 3 Lightening's you can take out 1. If you have 4, I think you will be able to take them both out - but it all depends on random luck though.

My lightning is also level 5, and in the war the enemy put two air defences lvl 5 corner to corner to each other, I brought 4 lightning spells zoomed in and aimed exactly in the corner, and the result was 1 air defence was destroyed but the other was left with just a tiny bit of health.
