Finding it hard to save for for Level 10 archer towers

I keep my storage units maxed, or as close as I can. I know I am going to get raided as soon as I log off and loose 300K+ of each, and get a shield til the next day. I make that back in 2 or 3 raids. I play everyday. If you are not, you would have to play for long stretches of time to make enough for each upgrade.

It's nearly impossible to stop a th9 from leveling your base. All you can do is farm in advance. I always looked for one more raid with decent loot (250/250 to 300k) to soak the damage. Usually a th9 will only get around 300k from you. All you need is one good/ long session of raiding. Don't let your device go inactive.

1. Put your TH in the corner of your base
2. Plan your shields around the times you go to bed/school/work
3. Farm

Simples.

nah seriously, i know it can be a pain, the upper you'll be, the harder it'll get to keep the gold...

use the farming strategy by putting th outside... raid for one ressources at a time and raid in session, doing 5-6raid then logging off... cook badass army for the comeback... and cook cheap fast army for raiding session (i like barb+gob) but it is not cup maintain.. so i can lose like 200 trophy for a couple raid but making a million or so in a hr session or more

And stagger which storages are full - saving for Archer Towers? Dump all your elixir into Lab or walls, dark into heroes. Rare that many people would go all in just for gold if they will lose on elixir and dark elixir.

And if you are still consistently getting wiped rather than sniped, you may need to adjust trophy level.

Drop to silver 2-you can farm loot at that level and the th9 cant find you as easy. I just upgraded to th9 and i stayed in silver 2 until i finsihed mxing out my TH8

Just keep your town hall out. There are plenty of people in that range that snipe to get to crystal. I get sniped by TH6/TH7 most of the time.

Its not totally true that people wouldn't go all in for just gold. Right now I am primarily farming only gold for defensive upgrades and don't care that much about Elixir or DE. If I found a base right now with 250k gold and 80k elixir and 200 dark, you can bet that I will level that thing for only the gold.

Maybe that makes me a bad farmer, but you do what you gotta do.

This is true. Harsh but true. This is what I always did at TH8. Now I am TH9 and do the picking on. You have that to look forward to. But I got hit the other night by a good TH10 with a lvl 23 AQ for 200K, so I know loot loss is going to happen to me too. Always be aware of what you are willing to loose and what your break even points are.
