have anybody drop leagues and rely on collectors?

I was thinking of dropping my trophies all the way down to 0-150 range and just let my collectors do the work and not have to worry about getting raid and tons of loot stolen by high level players. Is this an effective strategy?

If you gonna keep plaing the game, no point stay in low league as u can't farm much.
If you ganna go out for a while, my as well give all as a donation, make ppl happy to see ur base.

Lol. If you drop down that low, you'll never get to collect your collectors.

I've been playing for a year and a half and the collectors really don't contribute a whole lot..

The main source of income in Clash of Clans is to raid, raid, raid. Six Level 12 mines will produce 42,000 gold per hour. With proper raiding, you can make easily 200,000+ gold per hour. It would take way too long to upgrade everything if you were to rely on collectors alone.

I don't plan to be down there forever. Sometimes when your going for expensive upgrades a lot of people will go after your loot and ignore your outside TH. This basically means it can take forever to get that upgrade going when higher level players attack you. I'm only semi-active and not a person that can raid all day.

You need to be extremely active when going down low. People down there are only interested in your loot and many will 100% you.

I heard the loot there was dry.

Btw 0-150 range is impossible to get to due to Sub200 farming method, but thats a whole other story. Yeah if you wanna drop down because you dont play much thats alright. If you still play alot its not worth it, stick to raiding. However if you are a bit inactive and just gonna check every now and again drop down.

[EDIT] if you wanna drop down to where you wont lose too much go about 600-800 i think with townhall out. People will be interested in townhall not mines, as long as you kinda protect them.

Im aTH7 that uses sub200 raiding alot. You do not go under 300 trophies for safty at any TH. When I want to be safe 300 to 400 trophies is where I hang out.

So here is my impression after one day down there. It sucks. Tons of TH8+ there. Very few are willing to give you a free shield. They will take your loot and surrender or in other cases just drop one soldier and force a surrender meaning you can't survive to stay down there. Your village is almost always expose to an attack. Hopefully bronze league isnt like this too.
