Should I Push to Masters?

Hi guys! I'm Lvl 68 with Town Hall 8 and 838 Gems. I was wondering if I should start pushing my league into Master because of the 1000 gem reward for me to get my 5th builder. I was wondering if it's worth it because I don't know if I can town hall snipe my way to get to master(crystal, maybe). And my troops aren't that great yet(My best are 5* Archers, 4* Wizards; no hogs yet, level 1 dragon).

So, I was wondering if I should push my league into Masters or should I just use my gems to boost my barracks first to farm more and once I get some pretty decent troops then will I start my trophy push. What do you guys think?

Took me a day when I was your level, but made it there for the builder. Very much worth it.

I tried pushing to masters the past few days but I gave up at 2450 trophies, almost every base I saw was a TH10 with infernos, with the occasional maxed TH9. Never saw any TH8s. I was using GoWiPe. I already have my 5th builder so I don't care that much, I was just bored of farming. I've dropped down to Gold now where the loot isn't awful.
