I was training an army on my second account when I noticed my lvl 3 barracks had giants in it. Then, I realised that giants and goblins have switched positions and goblins were the 4th troop instead of the 3rd! I think this update deserves some recognition SC, this is troops getting switched around here! So to all of you when you start a new account don't be surprised when you get giants before goblins!
I don't think I was an accident. I'm not sure why it was changed though (but I'm not saying it was a bad idea). :eek:
Yeah I noticed that in the barracks they were in a different order and wondered if this was why
Confirmed. One of my coleaders just started an alt account. He is TH3 with barbs, archers, and giants unlocked. No goblins.
Since giants got lv7 before gobs, SC probably felt like giants were lower tiered. They take shorter time to upgrade per space at least
Also it seems that they cost less to train
You know you play too much when you blindly cook troops without looking what they are.
Makes sense, especially considering the level 6 goblin isn't unlocked until TH10, whereas level 6 giants are unlocked at TH9.

My son picked up on this earlier as well. I guess it does make some sense, but I still think of giants as "Tier 2". I would have also thought that something like this would have been in the release notes.
I think the ability to alter warbases outside of prep day had no mentions. This was by far my favourite part of the update.
yep I was mad at this because I used to be able to use one finger to make my troops but now they switched it and im like what the heck im putting giants instead of goblins in my barracks by accident.
Maybe it's cuz gobs are useless without gaints :rolleyes:
