Has anyone done the math for the dollar cost of gemming a base from start to maxxed everything? I hear players saying their fully upgraded bases are worth US $10k or more. It would be good to know the actual cost once and for all.

Idk but a guy I our clan called blade has L20 heroes, and he said it cost him like 84k gems.

You should also consider that the kind of people who gem their bases are the kind of people who gem troop creation so the total gems bought will be a lot more.
But at the end of the day even most farmers occasionally gem for various reason, certainly not to the same extent. The way I look at it is the cost to play this game is vastly less than the amount of money I put in the local coffee shop's tills every month.....and i'm mostly playing Clash in the coffee shop :)
