What does Supercell have against Barch/ Archers

I see no problem with anything that makes it impossible for TH7/TH8 to 1* TH10 regularly. TH10 can barely ever farm TH7/TH8. You want to barch 2 or 3 levels up? Fine. Eliminate the loot penalty.

It never made any sense to have an aspect of the game where lower levels could score against upper levels. It doesn't make any sense to see TH7 and 8 in Masters, or TH9 in Champs.

Making Barch harder is just closing a loophole. And we can still totally Barch. Just have to do it at peer level or below--or be great at it. Chump time has ended.

I agree with this completely.

I used to have even amounts of barbs and archers or slightly more archers... the only thing that changed after the update is that I use more barbs than archers when using BARCH. It still works fine and the barbs last just as long.

I suppose it has made the game more balanced and th10 better, I just wanted my gems! In Crystal 1/2 even th8 arch towers are mowing my archers, which made me worried. Have you found an alternative cheap farming strategy?

I must try this! Where abouts are you using this?

You can still climb the old fashioned way, TH sniping.

I got my Masters gems in TH9 (didn't need them then, and still have most of them now in TH10) by leaving the base in farm mode and 3*-ing every TH7 and TH8 that decided to snipe. Just constantly broke my shield to let the raids in. It went fast. Probably doesn't work for a TH8, though.

The same reason every strategy Dev try's to avoid Tier 1 unit spam.

I mean, something is wrong if you're in Master League and you can't stop a troop composition of the two lowest tier troops possible.

I'm not a premmie TH9 either, at that level, you should be using higher tier troops! Barching basically relies on destroying outer buildings beyond immediate reach of the defense and hope for a 50%. That's just lame...

Hadn't thought of doing it that way. This update will probably make that a lot easier as well. What stage of th9 would you reccomend doing this at?
