new wall defense

so i saw this idea someone had for a trap and it got me thinking.
why a trap?

this idea has been presented before as a stand alone building. it actually makes sense when you think that clash take place in the middle ages, sort of.

my idea is what you actually saw in castles in that time
its not a stand alone building, it was built in to the castle, apart of it.

my idea is this.
a new wall.

named "the Boiler Maker" - ok, its a work in progress

its a 2x1 section of wall that comes equipped with a barbarian and a boiling pot of oil.
when a ground troop comes close, he tips it over and the oil splashes on anyone below/in front.
here is the specs.

as i said, its a 2x1 wall piece
it upgrades as you upgrade your regular walls

so, this would be available once walls are available.
too keep this inline, i think that every 2 TH upgrades you get 1 boilermaker.
so, TH2 would get the first and then TH4 would get another, so, TH10 would have 5

now, to make this worth while using, and not located in some random place that would never get attacked
i propose to give each boilermaker wall, a 15% reduction in HP for whatever level wall it is.
a level 1 wall HP is 300, so a level 1 boilermaker HP would be 255
a level 5 wall HP is 1400, so a level 5 boilermaker HP would be 1190
by having a lower HP, troops and wallbreakers would target it but since it is lower, they would break it faster

now, what would it do?
well, i think the trigger area should be directly in front of it, the barb is not gonna drop oil if no one is in front of him, so the trigger would be 1 tile.
it would provide splash damage of 2 tiles
what the DPS would be, i dont know. i dont know a whole lot about that system, i am sure if you guys like this idea, you could help out in that regard.
i think that the reload time should be very slow, but if it got to that point, it should be able to dump another pot.

have i left anything out?
thoughts? questions? concerns?

it would be the same as a bomb. I don't think this is a great idea.
