Barching or Garching?

Hello everyone :)

I play CoC for quite a while now, but never used this Forums before. However I hope I will get used to everything pretty fast. The community seems to be really mature, friendly and helpful. Ok. enough self-introducing. Here is my question:

As basicly everyone I want to farm resources, but I also want to make my way up to Master league (at least Master 3 for the achievement). I know a lot of attack strategies already. Very common ways to farm is Garching (Goblins + Archers), but as I said I also want to push my trophies. So Barching (Barbarians + Archers) could be more effective.

What do you guys think is the best for doing both - gaining resources and pushing trophies at the same time (50% raids)?

Barching or Garching?

Nope, BAG would include Barbs... This is just Gobs-Archers...

OP, I feel like Garching is just weak... I would suggest Barching with WBs (8ish) :)

Just go for THs, and use the WBs to get into the base a bit if the TH is at the edge...

Bring rage spells, Heroes, and CC for each raid :eek:

I know Garching is pretty weak, but if colletors are outside you can destroy them pretty fast and archers go for the other buildings. Barbarians need some more time to destroy collectors (especially soon when most players will have their collectors at level 12. But yea, Barbs have more HP. This is why Im struggeling.

Going for THs all the time can be really annoying cause often it takes about 15-20 mins to find a townhall outside or on the edge and mostly those ths on edges are protected by teslas, mortars and wizard towers.

Use more minions. Theyre the swiss-army knife of the troop catalogue... i never hear about anyone using barb arch gob mini but i never stray from it for farming

I used minions from time to time, but they are rarely worth it imo.

im gbarching all the way. will switch to barch when i dont really need DE.

Try Garch but the G for giants instead of goblins to hit storage raids and gain cups

I cant wait til supercell kills barch lol... Garching all the way. And the G does stand for giants skrew goblins

Arch and barbs are supreme. Minions get shot and popped with traps. Just switched back to barch from using Giants/Arch/Barbs/Wbs gobs optional. All max level. Lame.

Stick with Barch

I've never tried 'garching', but it sounds like it would only be useful vs very specific bases, and getting storages sounds like a push.

I've been using barch recently (been awful at it for ages) and it's been doing a job for me in champ/M1 even since the AT changes.
