Help out your clan, cook up some drags, pekkas etc and donate away. Cook expensive armies and have fun attacking bases you would normally not attack with barch. Make some nice gold and de profit in the process.

Im glad they kind of reversed that ridiculous lix for walls update. It should be for lv10/11 walls only but lv9 isnt so bad.

If you are th8 and think it's too difficult to max your base I would suggest you start looking at the possibility of quitting the game and finding a new hobby. Th8 is the cut off where the game is still very very easy, th9/th10 is where it gets noticeably hard.

That is exactly why someone here called you the poster child of the root cause for the problem (or something like that).

Dumping tiny amounts of leftover elixir on cheap walls is what caused the elixir shortage in the first place.

I have not once stopped donating to my clan. Difference is ... I could donate dragons all day and still not put a dent in the elixir before.

Second ... shut up with your elitist better quit now ♥♥♥♥. The game isn't hard. It never was hard ... it never will be hard. Spend time or money or both and you win. There's no skill in this game. Finding loot is not up to you it's up to match making. It's the amount of time invested for little gain that makes the game boring. I certainly don't look forward to raiding for 50 k gold and 330 k elixir.

I just annihilated th9 base with my dragon army. Fun. Would have never done it if i disnt have extra elix cause of this update.

I agree, the game was never hard (for me at least). I never had problems with loot or anything else. Lix for walls or not loot was fine, it will be better now.

If the game isn't hard for you either why even bother to respond to that post? I was obviously directing that post to the many many posters that say that maxing th8 is now gonna take forever/its too hard.

Of course if they think th8 is too hard then th9 will be excruciating for them and th10 will be near impossible, hence why I suggested they quit at th8.

You forget that back when you'll were TH8's, there were raids of 400k or more, and there were a lot of them. Now you get 1/50 raids above 200k and 1/25 raids above 100k. And if it's a storage raid you won't make a decent profit in an hour, because you can't do it with a pure barch.

I am a TH8 right now and I am very happy if I see 4 150-200k collector raids in an hour, which gives me about 600k profit in 1 hour of raiding. That used to be 1.5 raid for you when you were TH8. So yeah, TH8 was easy.

That's pretty much the gist of it. Plus it's hard to hold onto it when loot is scarce. I get attacked when I'm approaching one million each by level six giants. When it's slow going up and quick going down it's not that it's hard it's that it takes forever. I don't like feeling forced to keep my phone on just to keep my moderate progress

The excess elixir on TH8 is meant for TH9 from the beginning.

the update about upgrading lv 6 and 7 walls with elixir is just a mistake on SC's part, and they corrected it with this update.
