numbers don't lie. please read that again before complaining about wall price (or any upgrade price).

(and if you still think about complaining, remember that negative loot bonus for higher TH... TH10 loses 50% loot by attacking a TH8, and 75% on a TH7.. yep: TH8 farming is a *lot* easier)

hmmm, they took out elixir upgrade before lvl9 walls to get elixir back in circulation, your logic is kinda backwards and forward at the same time, you're saying that now that you can't upgrade walls with elixir, people will gem for gold

it's the same pre-update, there was an elixir sink, and according to your logic, they'd gem for elix (since it is scarce)

a long time ago, players wasn't allowed to upgrade via elixir at all, SC changed it, and for a while we were able to upgrade via elixir from L5, now, they're cutting back, and made it L9

again, with your logic, they should just take out elixir upgrading on walls...

You people complaining about having to upgrade skulls with only gold are going to burn out in a real hurry once you have a ton of expensive upgrades to complete.

A better plan would be upgrade to TH9 with lvl 7 walls, work on your upgrades, burn out and then leave easy loot for the rest of us :). Its a win/win really, because you don't have to worry about your walls and other players benefit from when you have packed up and left clash.

Ugh I don't know if you're agreeing with me or unsuccessfully trying to make fun of it. So I'm going to give a sarcasm free version of what I'm saying.

SoftBank is a corperarion, and the sole purpose of a corperarion is to make money for its shareholders.

So when people say "Supercell is doing this becuase they want to make more money" well Duh it's what a corporation is suppose to do. At least this corperarion doesn't force you to buy anything.

Yeah, I haven't been at this game as long as many people here. I think I must have started this year, because I don't remember snow on the bases. Made it to TH9, and luckily have maybe 7 skulls to go, so that will be done today or tomorrow depending upon time or luck.

I have to admit I have been dumping elixir and gold into walls before logging off. If I leave more than 1m in storages, I got raided hard, because I guess I was one of the few base with over 100k apiece of gold and elixir "available" for raiders.

My solution has been to adopt confusing bases, spend down two out of the three resources, and leave a free town hall for trophy hunters. The new update won't change that much, but at some point I am going to have to try to save up for the more serious defense upgrade expenses, and will have to leave some form of loot available for raiding.

Meanwhile, my troops might be ready....

not really, Gold is also used in upgrading structures, they'll have to save some to upgrade expensive structures
