The two most frustrating thing in COC just became a reality...again...because of $$$$

It always makes me chuckle when people complain about walls under level 9. I'm sure the next complaints will be that th9 and th10 defences are too expensive and supercell is just trying to make money off gems (cause no one can actually farm that much loot.....I mean other than the thousands and thousands of players that already have)

I totally agree with you. they have only recently allowed wall upgrades and now they've pulled it. I'm in the middle of upgrading my walls from lvl 7 to 8 - it's like they've changed the rules mid game. I think this could put off a lot of players and they may have shot themselves in the foot here.

They didn't change the rules, they gave you a temporary charity that negatively affected the clash economy. I'm currently farming lavas at TH9....i did all my skulls with gold before the elixer upgrade. It's not that hard...it took 2 weeks with other defensive upgrades going at the same time. Either you have the patience and determination to farm walls or you dont. If people are complaining about 500k walls then I would hate to see people at 3 million a piece walls.

How on earth do you have an elixir surplus...

i cant get lab upgrades done because i cant get more then 2 mil...
however getting 4,5 mil gold is easy peasy

im a th9 btw..

It might be hard to comprehend but sometimes supercell does things and it is not based on revenue.

Changed the rules mid game?

But really, we haven't been able to upgrade ANY walls with elixir for the past two years before the recent update that allowed you to dump your elixir into walls. You should be happy you were able to for that short period of time. And after all, you'll be able to again starting with level 9 walls.
