Best TH8 GoWiPe army composition?

Im looking for a good composition for GoWiPe at Town Hall 8 for clan wars. i currently use 2 golems, 2 P.E.K.K.A., 16 wizards, 10 wall breakers, and 6 archers. Also, I use two rage spells and one heal spell. Anyone have any recommendations to improve this army comp? Thank you to all that help

My question is this (and no offense intended). Why even bother with GoWiPe at th8? Mass dragons or Dragoons (813, 105, 717) (sub hogs as needed) will easily score you two if not three stars on any th8 base (and a lot of th9s can be two starred) and it seems GoWiPe is only a two star attack at best, so why use it over air attacks?

I have used dragoon in the past or all dragons, but it is not entertaining. I can 3 star max th8s with the gowipe strategy, and GoWiPe-ing is actually a fun attack to do, but i want it to be as effective as possible

Personally, i use 2 golems, 2 pekoes, 18 wiz and 8 wb along with a pekka in the cc. 2 rage 1 heal. Hope this helped :cool:

I use same spells...2 golems, 3 pekkas, 13 wiz, 6 wbs, 1 arch, cc 6wiz and 1 arch....easy 2 possibly 3 if you drop wiz sparingly!!

I 3 star maxed TH8 bases with gowipe all the time it's all about practicing to raid, buff your skills a bit it's not that hard here's a vid of me easily demolishing a maxed TH8 without all 3 spells or clan castle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jsk8Vuq86CI (that's right I am a TH8 too btw) skip to 6min to see the raid, as for the thread name I'd have to say that there is no best TH8 gowipe comp, it's all about your preference in terms of troop ratio and you just have to use spells and deploy troops in accordance to what you have trained up, although my personal preference by far is 2 golem, 2 pekka, 16 wiz, 10 wb, and the rest archers, the archers may seem like wasted space BUT they always help me out in clutch raids, eg. when I raid a TH9 and I need to pick up 50% then drop the arch on free buildings, also IN LOTS of cases your wizards can die out early vs TH8 with well placed bombs, then at the end all you have left is your golem and like 1 defense shooting at it, you can drop all your arch on that last defense to take it out, this has happened to me lots of times and I ALWAYS bring a few archer to any army comp I use now lol, some important notes with gowipe, wb usage is key to getting pekkas and golems to the core, and getting those troops to the core will determine success, so basically if you screw up wb your raid is dead, wb are the key to all tanky ground raids, as well as the initial wave of wizards to clear buildings, in that video I cover a few tips on gowipe that might clear some misunderstandings and questions you may have :) GL wiping them out in war

2 golems; 2 pekkas; 15 wizards; 4 archers; 8 wall breakers; 2 hogs; clan castle: 2 witches and 1 archer; 2 rage 1 heal 1 earthquake (if the previous attacker has already revealed low HP clan castle troops, use poison). If you don't lure (I recommend luring), replace hogs and archers with 3 wizards and a wall breaker (totaling 18 wiz and 9 wb). Also, you can change the amount of wallbreakers depending on the base's layout. This composition can easily 3 star some maxed th8s if used quickly and efficiently, even without maxed th8 gowipe troops! Good luck and Happy clashing!

I don't buy the argument that TH8 gowipe isn't a three star attack. It is, if done right, with MAX TH8 troops. Level 4 Hogs are great too, but better to have multiple options. Some bases aren't friendly to one or the other strategy.

IMO, the best thing you can do is get a Level 5 Pekka in your cc, if someone can give you one. One of those is a huge upgrade over your other options. Max witches can work well too, but that Pekka can tank and destroy at the same time.

I'm not sure what those 6 arch are for in your comp. When I gowipe on my mini, I just bring one more wiz and one more WB than what you are running.

So my war combo is:
1 Giant
11 wizards
3 Pekkas
2 Golems
7 wallbreakers
2 Archers

Clan Castle: Max Pekka

2 rage
1 heal
1 poison

This almost always three stars a town hall eight if you have maxxed troops for town hall eight
Use giant to lure clan castle and drop poison, then if that doesn't kill the clan castle troops ignore it because it won't be doing too much damage and your troops will automatically take them out, then gowipe...

I sometimes replace the giant with 1 wizard and 1 archer depending if the clan castle is even lurable, if not, i dont use the giant, instead i attack on the opposite side of the clan castle, when the troops come out, rage heal pekkas and the clan castles will certainly die, DO NOT USE YOUR BARBARIAN KING TO KILL CLAN CASTLE TROOPS, THE BARBARIAN KING IS BASICALLY ANOTHER PEKKA.
