What Will you Upgrade first to Level 12: Elixir or Gold Mine?(5 days per upgrade)
I am building the 2nd DE drill + my lvl 6 Tesla is still in progress further more i got 2 pumps going to level 12 :)
I did my elixir collectors.
I always value pumps over mines so L12 elixir pumps are on the way!
Didnt we only get mines and collectors? or did I miss something?

It takes 58 days before you recoup the losses of upgrading a mine or collector to level 12.
Level 11 produces 3,000 per hour. That's 72k per day.
The upgrade time to go to level 12 is 5 days. So you are NOT making 72k per day for 5 days. That's 360k that your mine/collector didn't produce. The cost to upgrade is 336k.
So total lost by upgrading is by adding up both of those numbers (336k + 360k) and you get 696k .
Now the difference between level 11 and level 12 is 500 per hour. So AFTER those 5 days, you start earning 500 more than if you hadn't upgraded.
So if we take our lost amount of 696k and divide it by 500 per hour, we get 1392 hours. Convert that to days by dividing by 24 and you get 58 days.
So in a couple months, you will have made back the resources you spent on upgrading it.
(Calculations assume the losses, from being attacked, are equal before and after the upgrade).
