I'm pretty sure if SC gave a 5/10 gem achievement for maxing your collectors there would be more collectors upgraded and bringing more resources to the economy.

Most people will slowly upgrade them, as soon as you are not able to feed your builders with something else there is no reason not to upgrade mines or pumps as it is not so expensive.

I am currently upgrading one, saving gold for AT12, saving Elixir for Giants7, and nor really knowing what to do with DE (why not walls made of DE lol)

I'm currently upgrading four... :p

Hey it's free loot and it'll all add up and be worth it in the long run especially when 1 gem collector boosts roll through.

Only increased by 500 an hour? Looks I'm saving those upgrade until last then, makes no difference
