True Clark, I do see the benevolent reason for this. However the reasons against it still stand, because benevolent or not all the data is technically available now. Sure we privacy advocates seem to be in a minority these days (im still shocked at how few understand about Snowden's reason except TReason! for example) or at least a vocal minority, but we still exist, and I hope we still count : )
I use a multiple Operating system tablet with nearly all the functionality of a laptop. On my tablet are images i dont want people to have access to. I have professionally made sexy pictures of my wife on my tablet password enabled tablet. I pay my bills on this tablet. I keep copies of checks I write for my mortgage, and copies of checks I deposit into my bank accounts. I am emailed and frequently download my account histories for examination. I did my taxes last year on my tablet and have all kinds of financially sensitive information on my tablet.
Someone explain to me why a video game absolutely has to have access to my files. This is completely ridiculous. I will be filing complaints to supercell, and if they do not change their policy, i will consult a lawyer on the legality of their request and forward my complaints to any federal investigating bureau he recommends.
The NSA already has all our info guys. Its not like they need permission to get it. If you are worried about your privacy then maybe put the game down for a bit and do some research on whats going on in the world right now.
Or keep living in a bubble and become a slave, either way.

I should say, I can't stop the NSA from getting any information they want on me so I have to trust them to not sell it or abuse it. I can do something about apps wanting access to my information and express outrage at their requests for no reason at all... Attaching a picture or using another image second party site is not difficult in the slightest. Breaking into everyone's private files for the .001% who are unable to figure out how to attack a pic is an invasion of our privacy and a completely unnecessary potential security breach.Quote:
