Made this base so the only open space obstacles can grow is on the border. It has worked for every single obstacle except the Christmas tree. ♥♥♥ Supercell. Since when can Christmas trees grow on no spawn zones?

I have 2. One from this year, one from last year. I dont understand the point of this though to be honest. Not trying to be rude or anything but why would anyone view this as an accomplishment worthy of a leaderboard?

My hubby (LVL 97) has 2 Xmas Trees, both perfectly placed on border with 1 present each.
My LVL 87 has 1 Xmas Tree, also perfectly placed on border with 1 present.
My son (LVL 71) has 2 Xmas Trees, not perfectly placed on border, but still pretty nonetheless, with 1 present each.
