First time actually posting since the admin on this board has my real email blocked. Not sure why, I've had the email for over ten years. Anyways, I signed up using my work email to finally post up.

I must say this update has saved Supercell from losing a customer. Up until today I was VERY close to calling it quits after almost maxing out my base and finding squat for loot in the past few weeks leading up to this update. Even now, several hours after the update I'm STILL finding decent loot. This is just a sample of what I've found so far. This was the second base I've ran into with 5-600K loot gold and elixir available. Plenty of 250-300K bases. Plus the 100K win bonus for M3 is great! I was able to complete 10 legos tonight with casual play.

Who said using all archers is harder since the change to Archer Towers? You're crazy. I've been using them all night with great success in Masters 3.

The DB to 6 shows unlocking witch, minion, hog rider, and lava hound,

The donate screen no longer shows troop levels,

Archer tower info; "Archer Towers have a longer range than cannons, and unlike cannons they can attack flying enemies." should actually be; "Archer Towers have a longer range than cannons, but unlike cannons, they can attack flying enemies.",

The third line under structure info (like favorite target, damage to favorite target, type of damage, etc.) is 2 times as thick as the rest of the lines,

Under 'Clan Info', all fields have a ':' next to them except for the 'Wars Won' section,

All barrack-type structures have some form of punctuation minus the spell factory,

Mortar shots are mis-aligned,

Clan castle name is now distractingly displayed after being destroyed,

And a partridge in a pear tree!

Here's another example of the loot. This is more along the lines of the average loot I've been finding. Above was just a really nice raid. Both bases weren't inactive either, which surprised me.

As for the update itself,

Layout editor - Awesome. Much needed, and now we can easily change layouts without needing to spend time on rebuilding.

Elix for Lvl 9+ walls. - Gee, I needed this update to come 3-4 weeks late. But ah well, I did all my lvl 7 walls with elix and at least 1/4th of my lvl 8 walls, so I'll take it. It must have been much worse when you never had the elix option for any lvl wall.

Live replay of atks on base - I thought I would like this, but gee... Watching your base get smashed and losing 2k DE in live was not a good feeling. Mixed thoughts on this one. :p

Hero ability icon showing HP - Looks nice, but haven't really used it much so far. Probably will be a help.

AT shooting faster - Again, haven't really felt the impact of this. Might change in future.

Decreased/increased HP on Buildings - I remember reading a lot of posts on how this might spell the end for barch, but frankly I haven't really felt it make a difference. The decrease in army camp HP was nice. Definitely easier to take them out now.

Extra DE Drill at TH8 - Yay! Love it! :D

The rest of the updates are for higher TH levels, and I can't really comment. The only time i try th9/10 is while barching for inactive bases.


The credits button on the settings page was nice. Always good to appreciate the people who made this game possible. :)

Lol lvl 8 walls hard? Hmmm. Tell me how there were many players with lvl 8 before te elixir update. Do you even realize the reason they did this? If anything, people will be more encouraged to raid since tey'll need to work harder and it won't be so easy anymore.

I was able to upgrade all walls to purple before the update, will miss ugrading walls quickly but its no big deal. To lessen the burden on gold a bit and spend overflowing elixir maybe allow rearming traps with elixir, it will be done after I am looted afterall and please make achievements for upgrading collectors, so that more people will upgrade their collectors. I am currently barching in crystal iii at 1950-2000, will be BAMming now thanks to the new DE drills.

The ability to switch war bases instantly is an issue. We can no longer call bases on prep day, nor plan an attack with a fair certainty that the base will remain the same.

Everything else is excellent.

To all the whinging TH8s.

Here are some fact for you when us older players got our skull walls.

1) We did not have the option to make lv 12 gold mines.
2) We could not use elixir for ANY walls.
3) We had to use GOLD for spells.
4) League bonuses were worth less.

Sure, you lost 2; but you still are far better off than we used to be with 1, 3 & 4.

You are getting it way better than we did and we farmed every skull wall under much harder conditions, seriously stop the whinging.

well the upgrade was great.
i really like the save bases, collectors lvl12. the slight balance in elixir on walls was good too.. it was really to balance the economy.
though i really think the witch could have had another lvl. which is lvl3. since the archer tower was buffed.. witch could have been buffed too. well an extra skeleton summon, 5-10 increase in hp and damage will already do.

Yes, I can kick out some of the members to make way for those below, but honestly its messy. I don't see why SC can't add a war roster.


Its less about communication and more about ease of use IMO.
