This is a FIX not an update. I can tell you now, many suffer from this problem; all to varying degrees. No troops should've been selected as default since day 1.Quote:

Why did you take back the ability to upgrade walls with elixir for th8 and below? ♥♥♥ did you think supercell?
I don't mind the update, but I don't like the fact that you can't use elixer to upgrade the walls at lvl7 we have to wait til lvl8 to use elixer for the walls. I'm at TH8, and my lab is maxed, now guys are going to farm me for my elixer as I have it sitting around in the millions with nothing to do with it until I finish maxing everything. I think what SC needs to do is give us more options with our elixer than just troops and the lab.
My feedback is simply negative. I just feel like Supercell is recycling their current content instead of adding new features. Adding a level to current troops, in my opinion, is lazy game designing. The other new features, while they are indeed convenient, don't really address the current issues most people are currently having, which is staleness. I think I can make an argument that there are many people, including myself, who have lost interest in this game that was once great, and has since plateaued into what it currently is. Supercell, with the resources they have at their disposal, the creative minds that founded this game, and a great source of income pouring in daily, has the potential to elongate the life span of this game not through recycling current content, but rather, through innovation. New troops, new buildings, new spells would be a great start, but adding new features would make people want to play. What SC has done instead, is make the game a huge grind in order to elongate its life span that way. Essentially, they said "Alright, it took you 3 months to max th10, now, it will take 9". This type of change is a surefire way to turn your fans off, and sink your franchise into a hole. Feel free to disagree with my opinion, but remember, in doing so, you're disagreeing with new content and fresh ideas.
- I like the new resource collector levels, but I do wish the rate was slightly higher (3,750/hr). As it is at 3,500/hr, the catch-up point is a pretty heartbreaking 30 days. The 5 day build time and 336K upgrade cost is also painful (again given the marginal increase in production rate). Will I upgrade them, of course. It'll still be nice to have max collectors for those times when there's a gem boost deal on them (or when I need to get the last bit and pay the normal rate for boosting them).
- Speaking of gem boosting. Not sure, since I don't have one at level 12 yet, but is the gem boost cost one higher than it was for level 11? I think it might be nice if the gem boost cost capped out at 10 gems (unless you guys plan on adding even more levels) to give it ultimate parity with the other structures that can be gem boosted (barracks, spell factory, heroes).
- I really like the layout editor. Honestly it's probably the best thing about this upgrade. I do wish there were one or two more slots (or even a way to make multiple and "name" them) though. Make it a perk of being town hall 9 or town hall 10?
- I hope the next logical step is sharing layouts with clan members. It would be fun to have them show up in the chat with a way to preview/save them to your layout list (this is where additional slots would come in handy).
- No Christmas tree yet, though I am wondering if we'll be able to have more than one? I ask because I'd like to get one to spawn in the border of the village, but I don't want to clear it unless I have to. =)
- My usual method of barbs/archers for raiding is running into additional resistance from the modified archer towers. Hopefully the elixir changes will mean I can justify a more expensive army to raid with. On defense I like the idea that the archer towers will be more efficient with the damage they deal (if a target only takes one shot (half the pre-update damage), the tower can move on to another target, etc).
- On the subject of giants: I'm not TH10, but I noticed my giants cost slightly less elixir (lvl 4 giants were 250 elixir cheaper), so thanks for that little bonus. ;)
- I like the new method of showing the level of troops in profile/battle/everywhere. The stars were kind of ridiculous. =) I do think you could do away with the border/box behind the numbers though if you guys applied a stroke to the numeral and used a heavy dropshadow set off a few pixels from the text. I think for maxed out troops you had an animated background/box, and that could surely stay, but for non-maxed troops the little box gets a bit too much in the way of the troop art/icon. If nothing else, making the number slightly smaller would help too. =)

How long ago did you plant the seed?
Did you make sure to fertilize and water it?
Thats is for sure a great new addition, in the heat of the battle its easy to miss the ability of the heroes. Now its easier to control.Quote:
