What should I improve on?

I'm currently a TH6 and I feel at this time, trophies isn't important. So I've been sticking to upgrading my troops, defences and various other buildings. However some pesky people attack my base because the 10+ trophy isn't enough.

None of them have 3 starred the base, but they have taken a fair amount of loot. Also I usually login every 5 or so hours and collect the loot from my collectors.

What should I improve on? Is my base design good or does it need some changes. And if you were going to attack where you'd you attack from?
