I think you just said loons without spells but take one heal.Isn't that contradicting your own statement?

I wouldn't use loons until they are lvl6. I used lvl5 loons when I was in TH8 and it failed badly most of the time.

Now, I'm farming DE in C2 with lvl6 loons and they are a huge upgrade from lvl5.

Why would you be using balloonion as a th7? You need to save up de for the barb king upgrades and lab upgrades. You also have much quicker armies that are more consistent as a th7 like garch. With the wars you'd most likely want to use mass drag as it will almost always 3 star any th7. For farming you'd want to use garch/barch. There is no point in using balloonion for farming until at earliest th9.

Going back to the original point of needing spells, you would need spells unless you are just going for exposed storages/collectors and getting 50% and even then it is recommended to bring at least a lighting spell in case you trigger the cc and rages/heals help a lot when you're going for the core in raids.
