They ran into a double giant bomb.
Not smart to attack an anti-hog base when there so many other bases you could attack.
Actually that base is very easy to 3 star with hogs....trick is sending some goblins in at north and south to trip the bombs.
Gotta predict the double giant bombs
My say on this is, if you can't predict giant bomb traps locations, you have to drop using hogs. Since mechanics changed, hog swarm needs more thinking than it used to.
