Before I post my idea you have to understand supercell will not just one day allow you to use ur heros in war. They make huge profit off people gemming there last days of the upgrade so they can use them for war.
I propose that supercell charge 20 gems per hero to allow you to use them in war if they are currently upgrading. It's a fair price to pay and I personally think supercell will profit more off this option as people are still going to gem there heros for everyday use

Yes they are losing out on the 5% of players who spend 10 dollars to speed up one hero. But on the contrary these small gem purchases are highly in favour of supercell as they appeal to 100% of its players, they also make players who only rely on free gems a lot more likely to purchase gems as its gonna run them dry at 20 a possible 20/40 gems per war, also they are now at an unfair advantage, and everyone knows you never just make one purchase. Also the hero is still going to be upgrading after the war and people who are willing to spend 10 dollars to get a bit of extra war loot will still be inclined to upgrade as they will need there heros for raids.Quote:

I bet it would. I think quite a few people that would not be willing to shell out hundreds of gems at once would opt for this.
This is actually the best question in response to the post. However, we don't actually have the numbers on that. Only Supercell does😉. I knew a guy who would spend $20 a week to buy gems and he could boost pretty much anything he wanted at any time so yeah😒Quote:

if a compromise is what your looking for, that amount has to go up. 150 gems per usage in war. Not as expensive as paying the $10 but still pricey enough to make up for the loss revenue.
Having ng the gem cost this much Aldo ensures youre buying gems not just using free gems you've saved up.
150 seems really excessive to me. Remember we're talking about every 2 days here. Also it would also just permit hero usage during the war, not while raiding or defending.Quote:

For someone that is always upgrading and wants to use Heroes, that starts at costing 150 gems per 7 day upgrade period per hero... and eventually costs 270 gems to use your about to be maxed hero.
Actually, on thinking about it, it doesn't hit 7 days for a while. Perhaps starting at 60 gems starting at level 10. Must be level 10 to unlock this feature.
That seems reasonable to me.
