My proposal to the hero solution missing in wars when upgraded

So I'm sure most of you are well aware of one of the biggest issues this game faces. Those long hero upgrades that unfortunately rendure them unusable during war. Anything level 10 and up is just a drag to endure the long upgrade time, and cripples your clan during wars.
My solution is to implement a third hero. Of course, this would alter the balance, which is why only two can be in service at any time. Have to upgrade a barb king? No problem. Use your queen and <insert new hero>.
Supercell is looking to make money off of gemming. While this may hurt them slightly, I'm certain many players will still gem their heroes due to a need to have their strongest heroes ready for a big war. So what are your thoughts?

Wouldn't it simply make more sense for them to allow upgrading heroes to function in wars? It certainly would be far less complicated.

Yes judy, it would! Supercell will not even acknowledge this as an issue though because they're caught up in their own greed.

Adding another hero at this time will require a lot of balancing, plus right now Supercell is doing an awesome job, getting much wanted and long time requested features into the game. So it will be easier to allow them to used in war, when upgrading, but i dont assume it will happen. About Supercell making money, thats why games r built and they provide good content and updates, its also about making money, wouldn't u like to get paid to for working ��

I would even propose the third hero costing $5, just to offset costs to counter this problem. I'd certainly buy it.

Supercell is the top grossing game on the market. It's time to give back a little, and this is the biggest inconvenience this game currently has. Like I said, even a charge of $5 for the 3rdhero would be fair.

So they make a game that you can play completely for free. Then they continue to update it periodically with many of those updates the result of player feedback, and you call them greedy?

Take a step back a look at who is actually being greedy here. Just because your priorities and SC's priorities are not the same does not make them a villain and you some sort of victim. Quit acting like one.

Like I said, they're the top grossing game on the market. I personally have invested $25 into the game. Try taking a look at the price of gemming a hero. It costs minimum 500 for me at level 12 heroes to fast upgrade. Tell me genius, do you think this is a fair price EVERY TIME I need to get my hero into battle for a war? Really, you're going to justify paying $5-10 on gems every time? And it's only going to get more outrageous as I push from 20...to 30...to 40. Get off your high horse defending greed.

You did read my first comment in the thread right? I actually was agreeing with you. Then you decided to go into full blown rager mode. Another person just posted a thread asking for perhaps a 20 gem payment to be able to use upgrading heroes in a war.

Guess what, I agreed with them too.

Adding another hero has been ruled out. However, I do agree with dahimi:D

I never went into "rager mode" until you lashed out on me in your second post judy. Yes, personally spending $25 is irrelevant in the grand scheme, but most players have spent a good amount ($10-30 I'd guess) to get their workers, and maybe a few quick upgrades.
All I did was make a suggestion on a way to counter this problem, because like I said, it would cost a fortune, probably hundreds of dollars, to get my heroes into every war going forward. So yes, like I said, supercell is greedy in that aspect.
I would guess that less than 5% of players are even interested in gemming their heroes because it just isn't worth it. The large majority just endure the loss of a hero. Adding a third hero for $5 would entice many players, so they would make their money from such a large base of players investing in it.

No, you're not. Dahimi can just see the bigger picture rather than the limited insight to your idea. Calling out SC isn't the answer and blindlessly accusing them of updating the game to their own benefits is pointless. Do you really think that they would have the playerbase that they do without listening to the masses?

Think about it, a third hero wouldn't fix unfair wars (you still gotta upgrade your heroes making yourself only having one or two, whereas the enemy can have all three if they're gemmers) and instead of being able to move on and add new content, SC would have to do a ton of balancing.

Also, the idea about the third hero costing 5$ wouldn't be the best. SC wants money (duh) but isn't greedy at all! Thats why you can get every single available feature in the game without spending a penny You can easily get plenty of gems by obstacles and achievements. This proves that SC isn't greedy at all.

Please think about these ideas before suggesting them.

Yes, that absolutely would be ideal and I'd love that, but at the same time, supercell still needs to make $ off of this game, which is why I think adding a 3rd hero to the rotation would still yield them profit for this scenario. Giving us heroes to use for war would cut into their profits, so I doubt they'd go for it.

I'd like to retract my statement calling supercell greedy, emotions caught up to me, and I was misunderstood. I said in this specific aspect, during wars and not being able to use heroes, it can get costly if you war frequently like I do. Adjustments definitely need to be done. I know a lot of people disagree with my ideas and that's fine, but it's just not pleasing the fan base in its current state. Supercell does support the community well and I shouldn't have labeled them as a greedy company.

Seems reasonable. I'd be OK with 20 gems for a two time usage in war.
