Many have told thats whats the point, just enjoy the game. I say that a high level earns you respect, and gets you hired automatically if you enter a donating clan. The level of a player doesn't do much in the game, but if you think of it, it has many passive effects on the communication within the game between players.
I'm a TH8, almost maxed out. I know exactly what you mean though, because my clan has a decent amount of TH9 players, but as soon as a member sees someone who is TH10, they are like "get him, get him!". While we have specific guidelines for our members to follow, just because you're a high TH doesn't mean you get in ours. I don't claim to have the best clan or anything like that. Yet, we are very active (daily, and almost always have someone on) and we always try to donate what is requested and strategize for clan wars. We try to be as organized as possible, while other clans fail miserably at it. Just my two cents, but I do agree with you :)

Yes, a higher lvl player is almost welcome in most clans bcos he adds strength to the clan he is in or joining. Bcos of his base and high lvl troops. 😊
I ignore it, both mine, and others ........... people just start throwing around "must have donated loads of goblins" statements, or "cheeted on the single player map", etc... as soon as it get mentioned (in my experience)....
Because it shows how active you are in upgrading and donating troops.

Well if you have an amazing base, and a high evel, things can't get more perfect, but lets say you are a high level, and have an average base, what about a low base? I guess level shows that you are active a lot, and dedicated.
