How Long until lvl 12 Collectors help Loot Situation?

I was wondering how long yall think it will take until lvl 12s actually start to help the economy?

Assuming the build time will take 5 days or so it will probably take active players near a month before all their collectors are 12. (Considering they will be working on other upgrades here and there as well). That means a month where a lot of players will have collectors down. Meaning the economy is actual gonna be negatively affected at first! :(


All in all this is not a complaint thread, i just wanted to get yalls perspectives! Im super glad SC is actually doing something to help the economy, Im just thinking its going to take a while before it collectors start to help things out.

Well de drills at lvl 7-8 and them holding much more max will be great for 7-9 bases almost immediately.

Lvl 7 giants will be great for th10's farming almost immediately.

Lvl 12 collectors will start making an impact in 3-4 weeks.

They won't

This type of economy balancing will not work.
Yes, more elixir will be available (unless people decide to push or mess around with excess elixir, I know I will...100 WB armies plus hero/healers here I come :p) but there will be a massive shortage on gold. It's a trade off.
A side note. Has anyone noticed the complete lack of minerals available right now? Just like in IRL when SC announced the whole wall thing it created a huge demand for elixir and gold (to push walls as far as possible before patch) and sort of created the gamers equivalent to a "run" on a bank.

I think that it's going to take a couple of months for the lv12 collectors to positively affect loot.

The people who currently have lv11 collectors have been playing a while. We know that there's possibly going to be a 1 gem boost coming around Christmas. We're unlikely to upgrade our collectors until we know if/when/what kind of boost will happen. So a lot of people won't start the lv12 upgrades for a few weeks.

It will take a few weeks, probably around a month or more depending on available workers to upgrade all the collectors. If anything loot will be adversely affected during this time.

The people that upgrade their collectors as soon as they can are also the same people that will empty those collectors several times a day. It's just unreasonable to think that in January we'll start seeing abandoned bases with full lv12 collectors.

The new collectors will help the economy. It's just going to take some time.

How many people even plan on buying the last collector or upgrading to level 12 when this will make wars harder? I personally am more concerned with how difficult war is then how much my collectors put out over a year period. I think elixir will improve dramatically due to the walls change.. Before you could use elixir for walls the game used to be a lot more social, donations were awesome. These days you get barbs or maybe archers but no one is raiding with pekkas or dragons ready to pop one on you like before. Hopefully some of the magic and fun comes back to the game now.... I think a couple of weeks until the elixir improves slightly, maybe a month we will see some improvement especially in th8 and below, who raids th7 and below.. Loot as in gold i don't see anyone's motivation to buy collectors that make war harder.. Most farmers are super low trophies... I guess it depends really where you are in the game

This is absolutely correct. I could not have said it better myself.

lvl 12 production would be 3.5k per hour,I guess.
So that is ~250k/12 hr,It wouldn't make a big difference but the wall update is more interesting.

Very True. The only quick relief is that once you get lvl 12 collectors 'you' can collect more from your collectors.
After each update, normally few start playing again and few rage quit, and few more become casual.
It will take next 2-3 updates to start finding full lvl 12 collector raids.
Rage quitters and casuals are the ones we seek for now. Quite a contrary :rolleyes:

Lets not forget that collector raids from 'Dead bases' (not casual players) have become a rarity these days. So imo, lvl12 collectors will not completely address the depletion of current loot situation (especially Elix)

But yeah this is just a Hypothesis, lets see what happens :D

Yea, obvious it won't happen right away unless SC has a less volatile formula for consistent inactives when farming.

But I have been seeing 4 mortars constantly in inactive raids for a while. Although the 4th mortar will take a lot quicker then to max collectors from 11-12, I think a mix of 11/12 inactives should pop up consistently in a few weeks.

I don't think lv12 collectors are going to help ecconomy any time soon, but I am sure that only lv9+ wall upgrade with elixir is going to save up elixirs very quickly, maybe within days. This would mean, instead of keeping elixir at around 250k-500k level, people would have to have it around 1M+ level. This translates to from 50-100k loot (as we frequently see today) to 100-200k loot, I am sure this would greatly help the loot situation.
