noob th10 farm trophy range?

Some background: I just upgraded to th10 after spending many many months as a maxed th9 with 5 idle workers. I am an expert barcher/ BAMmer. I attack about 4-6 times a day, 2-3 in the morning and 2-3 in the evening. Both times are when my shield runs out. I leave my townhall(th) outside so I always get a 12 hour shield. And since I always dumped resources on walls before logging out, I rarely had anyone attack me beyond my exposed th.

So first thing I notice as a new th10 is that now I can't spend all my resources before logging out, because there are new shiny upgrades to be had. So my question is, what trophy range should I be in? My common sense is 90% sure that I should find a spot where there are a lot of preemie th10s. I'm guessing somewhere around 2k? That way I don't lose so much on logging out. Should I still be BAMming or should I use a beefier army now?

But I am also thinking a little about the future. For example, as soon as I have two level 3 Inferno towers should I jump to a higher range, maybe 2600+ and start storage raiding? Would raiding 3-4 times per day at those higher ranges be viable? Or does my play style dictate I pick on preemies for a lot longer? I also don't forsee BAM working at that level, so what comp would fit my schedule?

Finally, I am using this base layout I found on the web. Any thoughts? I will be leaving th outside when storages are not empty. This is not my base!

2k cups seems about right. I think that anywhere from 2200 to 2400 is decent for a max th10, it starts getting pretty competitive at masters and above. Farming can still be done without building expensive armies, I wouldn't use BAM though. I like 8 wiz, 8 wb, 8 giant, barbs and arch to finish. Gives you just enough muscle to beat up on the TH9s or preemie TH10s.

That base layout is a war layout. . . the elixir storages are outside the walls. . . why on earth would you use that layout?

Yeah that base is designed to entice people to take your storages in exchange for their trophies. This is a really bad idea for a new TH10.

But like Dave said that is a war base setup which won't help you out as a new TH10. Use a hybrid setup or a straight farming base for the mean time.

I wouldn't recommend pushing too high right off the bat as you will have defenses upgrading and if you push too high well developed TH10's will throw the heavies at you if you are plush with resources.
