Game is always changing as each update brings a new life to gameplay. Adapt to it :)
If your a TH9...it will be a problem.
If your a TH8...50% loot penalty from th10 attacking a TH8 will not effect you as much...but if it happens, you will be stomped.
Hopefully your not a rushed TH9, or you will certainly have a reason to worry.
Problem maybe for newbie or rushed TH9's
As a Maxed TH9, yes they may make a few more raids on me successful, but I'll have them myself soon enough

Even though I'm th9, I feel like it's fair that th10 has lvl7 giants. After th7, every other th has a tank unit to farm with that makes it easier to farm off the town hall below them. No reason th10 should be the exception. Actually it was probly needed.
Ugh. If the not being able to attack inactive th7s was already enough.
Getting my th 8 base stomped by lvl 6 giants was so annoying, and now that im upgrading to th 9 they add lvl 7 giants
They're just trying to encourage alternatives to barch for loot at high levels.
I agree that it should be added for TH10's.
Mainly because it is a very good reason for me to upgrade to TH10... I love my lvl6 giants. I'm sure I would love lvl7 more....

Th10s rejoice! lol I don't think it will affect me too much as I (th9) hang out in gold 2 and bully/farm the th8s:rolleyes: I very rarely any see th10s and the ones that I do find are extremely premie.
Giants are not a big deal to me, almost never use them for a long time now.
At TH9 they were my last elixir upgrade in the lab. The last time I used giants to farm was at TH7. Since then I really have only used them as lure troops in clan wars.
Level 7 giants means I can take one extra wizard on my GoWiPe but that's about it for me. As a TH10 I have never had a giant based attack do more than 30% damage to my base so not really worried about them on defense either.
Perhaps if things turn out to be hard for Barching I may try to work a couple into my farming setup, but will have to wait for the update to see how hard Barch gets hit.
Archers towers fireing twice as fast will badly effect BArch/BAM raids, so the Giants will be needed for farming at the Th10 level and won't give anyone amazingly improved loot or anything just another small step away from farming off inactives and hitting active players storages instead, they will just keep loot the same for most players all be it from active players stores. Although I havn't sat down to crunch the numbers or anything, just an educated guess.
Also you can be sure as *%#^ that if they are popular and used a lot they will be nerfed after a couple of months, so don't bother writing a thousand Giants are OP complaint threads in here and just let SC's business model take its natural course.
I am just happy for all the maxed TH10's. Atleast the they will have something to upgrade now.. :p
I really havent seen people using level 6 giants on me at all really.
Depends on the stats, whether it is a small increase (like lvl 5 to lvl 6 wizards) or big increase (like lvl 5 to lvl 6 balloons / giants).
It's true that level7 Giants aren't needed but what's the difference? I can not stop a TH10 with level6 they smash my th9 base wih ease and I am a townhall maxer! What does it matter to me if they use one less healing spell taking me out 100%? This just doesn't matter it is just not important, let TH10 have whatever.. Can't raid them, can't stop them, I am unaffected there is no change here.
Oh well, they already smash us anyway, just saves them a few seconds.

I highly doubt they'd nerf level 7 Giants if they didn't nerf level 6 Giants, since the stat increase from level 6 to 7 is already not as good as from level 5 to 6:
From level 5 to 6:
HP: +270
DPS: +12
From level 6 to 7:
HP: +160
DPS: +7
If anything, they'll buff them like they buffed level 6 Giants in the December 2013 update when they increased HP from 800 to 940 and DPS from 37 to 43.
Suppose they had to give the martyrs something shiny in the next update....
Why worry? .... my builders will be busy.... All that loot I snatch from the wee rascals at th8, will be lego, by the time those lvl7 giants come lumbering into my base.....

I mean they start of on the ground and then go for a little fly trip.

I don't know why people who think th10s who weren't using lvl 6 giants would suddenly start using lvl 7 giants when their stat buff was negligible and they cost even more elixir (which th9s still won't have available because the wall change is 9+ instead of the much more reasonable 10+).
If you get attacked by a th10 with lvl 7 giants it'll have pretty much the same effect on you as being attacked by a th10 with lvl 6 giants, only they will be making less profit on elixir.
They need to either buff lvl 7 giants or nerf lvl 6 giants. Only way this could make any sense at all. Ridiculous. These aren't dps units. Needed a bigger hp increase in order to be useful, not incremental, especially considering the defensive capabilities from th8 through 10 increase exponentially.
Isn't that why lvl 6 giants were buffed in the first place, because of the exponential growth of defensive power, due to the introduction of new defensive buildings? Why do lvl 6 giants have over 40% more hitpoints and dps than lvl 5 giants when lvl 7 giants have only 17% more than lvl 6?
It must therefore be the case that either (1) lvl 6 giants are overpowered or (2) lvl 7 giants are underpowered.
TH9 stomp TH8 with giants, it'll be justice when TH10 stomp TH9 with giants. :)
