How to make the game playable for slow devices.

I own a iPod Touch 4G, which plays this game rather slow all the time. But I think Supercell could make a new setting about army camps. At the moment when your army camps are filled up you can see ALL your troops, what if they just make one of a kind in each army camp. So not all the troop show up but only 1 of each in every army camp (if you have 4 of the same troops of course, otherwise only in one armpy camp). This would make the game faster.

Not that I want to shoot down ideas that may improve performance, but,would you not run into the same issue of speed when you are attacking then, as you will deploy all those troops into the battle field loading up all the sprites anyway?

I would think performance is most needed during combat so I would think this is the time you would need it most.

I do actually have the same issue when I attack. But I couldnt think of an idea to fix the slowness while attacking. But I also experiene slowness when just viewing my base so I wanted to solve that.

I play on 4g too works fast for me

They already push two graphics settings and sound settings to the various older devices versus new ones.

Basically you would like a setting to disable animations sort of thing?

Yes, for example:

Less troops in army camps
No movement in army camps
Cannons not going left and right
The town hall woman not wondering around

and maybe:

no builder animation, only the time and the fences around the building being upgraded

I know for sure that this would greatly increase speed when viewing your base, i'm not sure how to make the game faster when attacking.

I have a range of devices iPod 5 and iPhone 3gs on the iPhone I get a bad frame-rate while attacking but not from my army camps. If you did change it then I would rather it was for the older devices only as on the iPod 5 its fine.
