I'm getting conflicting responses from friends, clanmates, and global chat about my base. Some say it's normal for TH8, and others say it's horribly rushed. What do you guys think?

You are just 2 lvls below from every upgrade. Walls , defences
upgrade lvl 7-8 walls before th 9, also get archer towers to 10 and cannons. Wizard towers to lvl 6, mortars too
i would say its not that bad, I've seen worse lol. Just focus on farming your defense, walls, troop upgrades, and whatever else you need to lv up to your th level. Don't worry, you can still turn it around just keep at it and don't upgrade our th to 9.
oh and I forgot to mention: I upgraded to TH8 two weeks ago

btw look at hulkfiles on youtube, he rushed and now he is a maxed th9 with walls and king. there is still hope for you don't worry.

its only salvageable because he is still th8. th8 and lower is always salvageable but come on this is horribley rushed. the level 1 teslas are gonna be a freaking killer and the only reason you would think to upgrade to th8 in the first place is to get mortars to 6 to spit fireballs and those strong zapping teslas.Quote:

Upgrade your defenses and walls first because it will be pretty hard on you if you move on to th9 with that kind of defense and walls
It's pretty rushed but salvageable. Pretty much all your buildings and walls are at TH6 level or below so you have rushed by at least 1 TH worth. I cant see your troop levels but I'll assume they are too low too and I can see that your lab is not researching anything. The best advice I would give is to make sure you get your farming troops (barbs/archers/giants) maxed asap and also your army camps. These are a priority because then you will find it easier to raid for the loot you need to catch up your building upgrades. Do not go to TH9 until you have pretty much maxed TH8 or you will regret it.

The most important thing to max is offence. Do this first and it will make getting walls/defences a lot easier

Since youre th8 and not th10, youre only pretty rushed. Ive seen th10s MUCH Worse than you.

Pekka:If you wont use it, wait for th9 to upgrade him. Otherwise, 3

Moderatly rushed You just didnt upgrade walls at th7 and some defenses are low. Besides that not really. Get your walls up. lvl 7 walls are intimidating.
And clanncastle is 4
Tip 1: Stop using all minions
Tip 2: Max Splash
Tip 3: Max barch
Tip 4: Farm your behind out
And you'd be fine. Also get all walls to 7

Are you having fun with the game? If so don't worry what other people think. Keep doing what is fun.
I think your base is just fine.Get to th10 if that's your goal. You can decide what needs upgrading then.

I would’ve waited a bit longer, but it isn’t that bad at all IMO. You forgot walls & splash (mortar + wizard tower), the rest is fine (collectors is a matter of choice IMO). At least don’t worry about the near future, if you stay TH8 for a while everything is going to be fine.

collectors should be maxed asap. Yo are losing out on a lot of loot from not having these maxed already

Anyway change one vote from "it's fine" to "pretty rushed", becuase your th8 is indeed pretty rushed. Not terribly, but still :rolleyes:
We have a th9 clan member that wants to push to th10 for the lvl4 dragons alone, and his village isn't even maxed th7 yet. If you're at th8, as already mentioned, it's salvageable. Don't go to th9 early though.
Pretty rushed. But like others said salvageable. However its gonna take you longer then normal as you will get smashed for loot if you have a good amount i your storage. Best bet stay in sliver 2 or 1 and farm there with barch. Max out splash def frist and barch.

Also, go and get a more effective base layout. Wasted walls at top, and not very good Wizard Tower positions. There's more but that first comes to sight.
