Another farming thread.... [TH9]

So I've been barching since TH6 because its extremely efficient. I don't have time to work with a giant-wizard army or anything like that, nor the desire. Until now....

See, I barched my lv7 walls at TH7, barched my lv8 walls at TH8, and I just started my legos (barching) at TH9. Barch is starting to get reeeaaaalll old. And fast. So, I was wondering if someone could give some insight as to another trophy range I could farm in. I'm currently sticking to 1800, where I can usually find a decent amount of collector bases and find it easy to maintain trophies. With barch. I was wondering if theres a higher trophy range with good loot (hopefully in the collectors) Maybe C2 or 1? I know 3000 is good but I don't have to time to stay up that high, especially as a new TH9. As of now, I only have lv6 archers and loons will be lv6 in a week. So balloonion is an option, but I would like to try and stick to a giant-based army. I'm extremely well practiced in GoWiPe, I've been practicing that for months, so a giant army would be a more viable option. I want to go higher in trophies so that I feel I'm not wasting elixir training a big 'ol army when I could just barch these bases.

TL;DR: I'm tired of barch and want to know a good trophy range to farm collector bases with a giant-based army. Preferably around C2-C1

Other details: 220 army capacity, will probably use something like 12 Giants, 8 WBs, 75ish Archers, 70ish goblins. Will carry a lightning, 2 heal, one rage.

Try C1-2 I find tons of dead bases

Awesome, thanks man!

My advice: bring 8 giants with your barch, makes it a bit more interesting. Use giants as little as possible, if u see a collector raid try getting 50% and all the loot without the giants. with giants you can farm storages easier! i really like that army. If u dont wanna use barch at all, try loonion in masters for a while, 3 weeks of that got me crawling back to barch and loving it all over again.

Lol yeah, we have a trophy push starting on the 15th, I wanna balloonion to 3000. But I hate trophy pushing so I'm hoping that will make farming more fun for me when I drop. Thanks!

Prior to the Halloween update, i would've told you 2200-2300 for a th9. Recently, i've had my best luck around 1850-1950-but my focus is on regular loot, not dark elixir. for d.e there's great raids in c1 but lacks decent amount of regular loot.

After i got my hero's to 15 i decided that regular loot was the bigger focus, since i wanted to smack out rest of upgrades. For lego's-1850 to 1950. For heros/D.e Upgrades, c1 maybe c2.

As for the army-barch is boring as hell, i agree. if i get bored of barch i run with:

12 giants 8 wallbreakers 25 gobs 25 barbs 6-8 wiz rest archers, 2 heal 1 rage 1 jump - cc is whatever.

Right now I have: 3 giants, 2WB in each barracks. Then after that I have half barracks barbs, half barracks archers (my usual balancing for barch). I think I will just stick to 1800s then, and ill stay a day or 2 in C2-C1 during our trophy push to farm a little.

Do it. won't hurt to pick up on a few hero levels! At the very worst you'll become a better attacker. i know farming in crystal sharpened up my skills! Best of luck on your push, and your th9 career.

I have been th9 for almost 5 months now, Barching in C2-C3 the whole time, GG has gone up by 550 million, no reason to go anywhere else. Or use a diferant army comp.
