Update is bs?

I'm a nearly maxed town hall 8. All I have left to upgrade are my teslas to level 6 then my defenses are all maxed. Let me tell you, there is no shortage of elixir. I don't understand why supercell is making walls upgradeable with elixir from level 9 and up, especially after they made them upgradeable with elixir at level 6. I understand how some players may be experiencing a shortage of elixir, but here's the problem. Town hall 8 will go back to the way it was, which is there's a lot of elixir to gain (this is before the update where walls could be upgraded with elixir) and they would upgrade all their troops and barracks and dark barracks. But after that, what happened? There was no need for elixir. People would disregard elixir storages in favor of better protecting their gold storages. About half way through town hall 8, elixir became completely useless because you couldn't do anything with it. With walls being upgradeable with elixir, this balanced everything out. Elixir had a purpose again, and it was to make bases better. Please, supercell, remember why you made walls upgradeable with elixir at level 6, and please reconsider raising the level to level 9. Also, stop trying to nerf batch.

So basically, supercell will be lowering the demand for elixir because town hall 7s and 8s will have no use for it. They think that they're increasing the supply, but in reality that won't matter if there's nothing to spend elixir on.

I support the lvl 9 elixer wall idea its going to happen no matter what lol.... Elixer has been a problem ever since the update, you where able to upgrade walls with only gold for ages don't complain.... Be thankful that you can even upgrade walls with elixer...

The point is that more availability of elixir from lower THs will trickle up to higher THs. It's the higher THs that have elixir issues (well loot issues in general really).

I'm just frustrated because I had a plan where I would upgrade my king, troops and defenses, then upgrade dark elixir troops and walls. I just started upgrading de troops and walls, and now I won't be able to finish walls with elixir. Eh, I'm kinda being a baby, it's whatever. I just thought it was such a fantastic idea to be able to upgrade walls with elixir and now supercells saying that all town halls except th 9 and 10 cannot upgrade walls with elixir

So supercells punishing all town halls except 9 and 10 so that people that are town halls 9 and 10 get more elixir? You know the vast majority of players are town hall 8 and below. It makes no sense to do this, basically it's putting a huge target on town hall 7s and 8s because they will have more elixir for the higher town halls to raid. And that, my friend, will not be fun.

If you a TownHall 9 theres no loot for attacking a TownHall 7.

TH8 is the most perfect place for you to absolutely max everything from walls to defenses to troops and heroes. The loot for TH8 is very nice imo

Elixir for walls in general was a colossal effing mistake. Be happy you got to use it for the time you had it. TH8 was the best farming range for gold/elixir before that update, it remained the best farming range after that update (b/c farming was dogs*** for TH9/10s after it, and TH8 will once again continue to be the best range for farming gold/elixir after this update. Got everything maxed but walls, and you don't want overflowing elixir? Come on up to TH9, you'll have a use for it once again here. Stop complaining.
