Anyone who maxed TH8 before the elixir update knows what I'm talking about when I say that the amount of elixir wasted at the end of maxing is unreal. After a certain point there is nothing to spend elixir on. So you are left with full elixir storages for weeks/months. Elixir was meaningless. Making upgrading walls with elixir available at wall lvl8 is a great way to make maxing your th bearable. Honestly I think taking that away will really turn people away from trying to max
When you have full elixer tanks, you should push, its the only way to get better at it. Practice. The big troops you'll need to do this cost a ton a elixer, you'll be glad you have it.
Max elixir is fun!
If you're full, do stupid stuff! Have fun! Go do an all wizard raid, go pick on a big base with mass drags, Provide your wallbreakers with a jump spell. Screw around, have fun! That's what the game's about!
It is hard to believe that TH8s are upset about having to farm 112 million gold to get a set of skulls without being able to use elixir to help them.
