chow is referring to the fact the both gold and elixer can be used at lvl9 walls and up. Hence the 16 million.

notice I said both storage, as walls at that level can use both gold/elixir, hence the 16 million filling both up........

And TH9 cost's more because TH10 does not get any new wall's.

You forgot you can use gold and elixir for those. So 16 million combined.

The game as a whole? No you are only thinking of yourself and that you just want yourself to be anle to get walls easy peasy. Thinking of the game as whole would mean this will allow more elixir available to almost everyone since no one will be wasting/dumping it on walls before they can stockpile. And lvl 8 walls and below are easy if you upgrade groups of them like you on any other building.

I think there must be an echo in here, my bad, I wasn't thinking about both of them. Only needs to be said once;)
