Clan War Participation Toggle

I'm in a clan with a bunch of my friends and coworkers. We war twice a week sometimes more if we get a good winning rhythm going but there was a point when we started losing a lot. We took on some new members with rushed THs and were getting waxed every time. A number of our higher ups were struggling for elixer to keep warring and had to hold up upgrades they were saving for.
I think it'd be a good idea to have a toggle for war participation. If you're a higher level player with a good trophy count then you'd be able to sit out a war or two to get that troop upgrade you're saving for without having to drop your trophies enough to put yourself out. Or if your clan has exactly enough members that everyone wars then you'd have the chance to take a break from war till you were ready.
Any thoughts or opinions?

Or maybe you can cut back to war once a week? Low town hall players want to war constantly since they have very little drain on their resources while high town hall players experience a massive drain on resources due to CC donations. Warring once a week on a set schedule, not whenever someone feels like it, allows your high level players to save up resources and get their upgrades done and participate in war.

Sounds like the feedback has kept coming as requested by SuperSteve. Topic posted countless times, and no end of the request in sight. Very hot topic, wonder how many ppl would like this that dont chime in or even come to forums. Im sure they are working on it after so much response over the last few months. Any other clan wars topics this hot? I dont have stats, but im sure someone could make a good comparison.

I hope they're not working on it. Or if they are, maybe opting out players could cost the clan loot? Or I'd be open to the bonuses being bigger with larger wars.

why should larger wars get larger bonuses?

Jonny you know so much about everything, please tell us more, leak your sources, or is it purely speculation? Ill just wait for the next thread to pop up. Some things cant be ignored. As the kick, match, reinvite goes against the whole clan works together and is all in together idea as it is. Maybe they will just nerf the loophole instead to accomplish this. Just a thought.
