I disagree. You're taking away loads of resources for lower townhalls since everyone will be dumping their elixer into walls (like everyone has been for months). It created a pretty nasty loot drought. Making it for lvl 9+ is a good idea. Most doing lvl 9 walls already have their troops/spells close to max and other things on their base maxed at that point.

I am going to be "that guy" and say that this is the one stand out thing about the update that I dislike. The only reason is because I started farming my skulls with elixir while using my gold for defense upgrades and it was working out REALLY well.
But, overall the decision to make it 9+ I am ok with. I am just selfish and want it to stay elixir for skulls for my own benefit :cool:
I'd be fine with it being level 11.
Dumping elixir while you are far from maxed is terrible for the economy.
So obviously lvl9+ is better than before.
BTW i'm slowly working on lava, I'd be fine doing them without elixir also. The more elixir available on the market the better it is for everyone.

I also have some skulls left to do and will do as many as I can before the update. Otherwise I will be just upgrading to TH9 and finishing skulls with any excess gold before I log off. 500k isn't that much really...

I also understand that elixir into walls makes more sense for high lvl TH10's who really don't need elixir after a certain point but could really use it to get their lava or zap walls done because they are waaaaay more expensive then my humble skulls, which is why I am ok with it.
