Heroes Available While Upgrading
This might've been discussed to death but i think heroes should be available when they are upgrading.
It doesn't mean that they are always available. When they lost all health they should regenerate prior being usable again.
What i am trying to say is 4 million DE and 200+ days of upgrading for something you use for 3 minutes just doesn't make sense.
A lot of farming strategy revolves around heroes. Take DE farming strategy with AQ for instance. It wasn't entirely viable without an archer queen because DE storage will mostly be in the innermost of the base.
And also when in wars the defender always have their heroes available whereas the attacker might not.
This isn't a rant, but i'm stating the fact.
A fully maxed TH10 (with at least purple walls) with disco infernos and teslas properly placed and evenly spread in the core, a witch in the CC alongwith 23 archers to frustrate luring attempts, 3 skeleton traps to distract any troops you have from entering the core is the hardest base to deal. Ever.
So upon what the attacker must rely on?
Spells? Three of them are mandatory. The attacker will always bring a lightning spell to counter the witch strategy and two freeze (or a freeze and a jump) because disco infernos are spread properly and inside different compartments.
Of the two remaining spells, one of them is a rage to destroy the core as fast as possible to maximize the DPS. One of them is either a jump, a rage, or a heal. It will make a difference, but will not make or break an attack unless the attacker ended with 49% and 100hp left in the town hall.
Golems? Nah they got stuck hitting a wall 75% of the time without jump spell. 20% of the time they got demolished by maxed towers. Only 5% of the time will they survive either by 3 stars or time out.
Wizards? A disco inferno (42dps) kills up to 5 wizards (164HP) in 4 seconds.
PEKKAs? 4 maxed teslas (800dps) demolish PEKKA (4,500HP) in 6 seconds.
Witch? Nah they are support troops.
Yes your guess are right! Heroes!
A decently leveled Barbarian King inside the core along with 4 tanks nullify inferno towers so the wizards and witches are safe within the murder zone.
A decently leveled Archer Queen inside the core will DPS everything so quick that your troops live longer in order to attain that "like a pro!" 3 stars.
Outside the core the heroes will most likely destroy anything on their path, giving the attacker the much needed +10%.
And also, any standard troops are usable eventhough they are being upgraded. Why doesn't the same work for heroes? Please reconsider this. At least make heroes always available on clan wars.
