I am a somewhat new TH8 with a level 1 drill, is it worth protecting it or should I treat it like any other collector?
you dont need to protect it like a storage, but i would at least put it behind one layer of walls.
A level 1 drill is not worth protecting; protect it once it hits level 3
Treat it as a normal collector, if you have an open slot in your base then put the drill in. The max taken from a level 1 drill is 90 (75% of 120) right? Not that much.
It all depends on how active you are. If you are pretty active and are usually sniped then there is no need to heavily protect it. However, if you are pretty inactive or are trophy pushing, you might want to put it behind a wall or two. It usually just depends on the player's need of DE. Good luck with TH8!

De is v.imp. i would say atleat put it behind i layer of walls, also u could focus on upgrading it quickly as it will help ur BK get stronger and also upgrade DE troops 😊
