town hall in or out?

I'm a th9 at 2800 cups, just hit M2 last night. Should I put my TH out? A lot of people have been revenging me from gold 1 and I've been getting +0. If they were to snipe me it would be a -20 for me.. I don't know what I should do! So far my average defenses are like a 50/50 chance its a 2 star or a 80% 1 star lol. So far TH in seems the best IMO.

Consider putting the th out soon (2900 cups or so). Champs will start getting you in their matchmaking and most will gladly give you a shield for -1 cup, as opposed to -10 to -20 from other masters

Thanks, but I am not planning going much higher than 2800, otherwise I'd have to spend too much time to get 2900+.would it still be worth it?

Always OUTSIDE!! Only time to ever have it in is after 3500 trophies, or between crystal and low master 2 as you can trade loot for defensive wins!

Even in low champs, you are much better off with the TH outside. The game incentivizes cheap shields and matchmaking makes someone far higher then you more likely to find your base before someone lower who will stomp you for far more trophies. People higher then you may skip your base if you offered 1 trophy, but they happily will take the free 1 trophy and keep searching after.

You can get to champs if you want.

Imo any non th10 should have their th in a corner if they are in master. Keeps the shield up and minimal loot loss. When I pushed to champ as a th9 I had my th in a corner. 80% of defenses were th snipes (easy trophys, easy bonus), 15% were barch for the 50% two star and the other 5% were all out assaults on my base. I was sitting on 100k+ de and a minimum of 2 mil elixir, so I was a juicy target for any th10 that was feeling hungry.

My mid level th9 (lvl 20 heros/half legos/all max defenses/full cc) wasn't gonna win on defense past 2800, so I figured why not put the th out? Try it for a few days and see how you feel about it.
