is the wizard splash damage on defense effect fair?

I don't find it unfair at all, suck it up if your bad at luring. Honestly if you didn't lure a dragon you'd be screwed too.

one is a tower for defense, the other is a troop. Comparing the stats between the two is hardly a reasonable point.

1. Never drop troops in a spawnhole unless the base is very low leveled, youre luring cc, or luring bombs. You may get the town hall. But most likely you wont get 50%

2. All wizards on attack and defense have splash damage (very small). According to the final poll choice you didnt know this.

3. Always lure cc in a war attack (unless its unnecessary for your army composition, i.e. gowipe, all drags, etc.)

One hit from 1wz doesn't kill your Giants.

Wz does about 170 dps. Giants HP is around 800.

However, 5 of them is a different story :)

All of our whizzies should be downgraded, because you forgot to lure, and went noob?


They are supposed to deal heavy splash, it is their main feature,

Whizzies in cc can be dealt with in many ways....

. If looning, a good one is the old baloon drop,

archers, surrounding them is good way..


.If you bunch them, then drop one whizz of yours behind the group, your 1 can often take a whole group out....


Etc.....

One wizard is not one-shotting your giants, unless your giants are like level 3. A level 5 wizard would take I believe 3 shots or so to wipe out lvl 6 giants. Maybe all 3 hit the pack of giants with their one attack and that's why they all died in what seemed to be one shot.

Regardless, lure the cc troops out and kill them away from the base so that this isn't even an issue. You're clearly aware of the destruction they can cause to your army, don't even let them come to that.

Sorry, but it sounds like you made a mistake, one which a lot of us have made. It happens. Even the best players do stupid stuff from time to time. No need to call something unfair over that. Also remember that it takes a long time for wizards to fire and as a result have to re-target a lot, slowing them down.

But it sounds like you realized your mistake, so just learn from it and move on.

One blast from one MAX level 6 wizard wouldn't even kill a level 1 giant.

Level 6 wizard does 180 DPS or 270 damage per attack.

Level 1 giant has 300 HP.

I had that happen to me a few times when I forgot to lure cc. Spammed my giants, POOF, gone! At that moment your heart just sinks, ♥♥♥♥. Two lessons: Always check CC no matter what and spread giants out.

So you're mad you fell for a black hole base, and in war no less so everyone got to laugh at you. Bet you don't make that mistake again ;)
